Seems like a great trilogy. What happens to Sophitia in the end? Did Kilik find his redemption? Xianghua should have more development other than being Kilik's best friend and lover. Do K & X stay together, die together?

I would say...
- Kilik sacrifices himself for Xianghua. Leaving his pendant & staff in Xianghua's hands.
- Xianghua finds Siegfried & Hilde. She begs Hilde not to kill Siegfried due to the fact he was once Nightmare and that she saved his life.
- After Algol sacrifices himself for Sophitia's life, she and Cassandra return home in peace.

-Kilik, Xianghua, and Maxi travel to Ostrheinsburg Castle to fight Nightmare. Maxi battles Astaroth, while Kilik and Xianghua battle Nightmare. Xianghua is victorious until Inferno appears, and Xianghua's Krita Yuga turns into Soul Calibur. She defeats Inferno, saving Siegfried (unknowingly) and Kilik, while managing to pull SC from Inferno.

That's what I was thinking. Something like MK: Legacy, where we can get a re-imagined story of the characters, and each season being narrated by Edge Master, Zasalamel, Algol, and Elysium.

-Voldo: A blind servant of Soul Edge and guardian of his former master's tomb, he will kill anyone who would get in the way of his goal of securing Soul Edge for himself.
-Astaroth: A giant golem created by Fygul Cestemus, he ventures on his own to retrieve Soul Edge for his own personal gain.
-Tira: A young, loyal servant of Nightmare, she works in the shadows of history, doing Nightmare's bidding, killing for enjoyment.
-Zasalamel: An ancient, immortal warrior who possessed Soul Edge at one point of his many lives. He wishes to obtain both Soul Edge and Soul Calibur to grant him the death he longingly desires.

- During the second battle between Soul Calibur and Soul Edge, Raphael unintentionally frees Siegfried from Soul Edge's control, piercing the demonic sword in its eye with his last ounce of strength, causing the sword to split in half. This leads to Siegfried's search for Kilik and Xianghua to help him in his journey for redemption.

- Kilik and Xianghua arrive in Ostrheinsburg to quell Soul Edge, only to be stopped by Zasalamel. Kilik challenges Zasalamel, while Xianghua receives a vision of how the battle would end for Kilik. This leads to Xianghua joining him in fighting Zasalamel, who looks perturbed at the sight of her wielding Soul Calibur. Zasalamel flees in defeat, splitting Soul Calibur in half. Xianghua picks up one half, while the other goes to Siegfried, who wishes them to help him fight Nightmare.

-Tira kidnaps Sophitia and a young Pyrhha, forcing Cassandra to find them.

- Talim, along with Hwang and Seong Mi-Na warns Yun-Seong about Soul Edge's true intentions.

- Maxi goes in search of Astaroth, only to find ruins of the Fygul Cestemus cult and a captured Rock, who he manages to free after defeating several Lizardmen.

- Mitsurugi is confronted by Setsuka and Taki about his previous search for Soul Edge, and killing anyone who would get in his way of being a strong warrior.

- Ivy battles Cervantes, almost dies, but uses alchemy to revive herself.

-Amy tries to heal Raphael, but is exposed to Soul Edge's energy in Raphael's wounds and blood, turning them both into vampires.

Mitsurugi: Wandering samurai in search of the strongest opponents in the world. He hears rumors of an ancient great king that was undefeated in battle, and once wielded Soul Edge and Soul Calibur

Taki: Ninja from the Fu-Ma Clan. She witnessed the battle between Siegfried and Night Terror, focusing on the clashing Soul Swords. She decides that the swords must be destroyed once and for all.

Cassandra: Baker's daughter turned Greek warrior, her search for her sister Sophitia and her niece leads her to Ostrheinsburg, hoping to find answers to her questions.

Talim: Wind priestess of Southeast Asia. She joins Hwang and Seong Mi-Na on their quest to prevent Yun-Seong from obtaining Soul Edge. She is also aware of Soul Calibur's true nature.

Yun-Seong: Proud Korean warrior who ran away from his dojo in search of Soul Edge. He believes that the sword will save his homeland, not aware that the sword is evil.

Siegfried: One of the two wielders of Soul Calibur, he believes that his redemption must come from defeating Nightmare in battle.

Ivy: Alchemists and wielder of the whip sword, she seeks to destroy the Soul swords as well as her father Cervantes.

Zasalamel: Ancient immortal guardian of the Soul Swords, he wanted to use the swords for his own personal use, but after a vision of the future, he decides to use the Soul Swords to transport himself there to stop catastrophes from happening.

Hilde: Princess of Wolfkrone. She joins Siegfried, Kilik, and Xianghua as she fights to save her homeland from Nightmare. Siegfried's love interest.

Sophitia: Once a chosen warrior for Hephaestus, she is forced to do Soul Edge's bidding in order to save her daughter's life.

Astaroth: A giant golem created by a newly reformed Fygul Cestemus, he ventures to retrieve Soul Edge for his own bloodlust

Voldo: A blind servant of Soul Edge and guardian of his former master's tomb, he serves Nightmare, but at the same time, looks to obtain Soul Edge, and bring it back to his former master's tomb.

Amy: Once a peasant girl who saved Raphael from certain death, she has joined him in the battle for the Soul Swords.

Algol: An ancient king from a civilization long ago, he was undefeated and wielded Soul Edge before his son used it for his own personal gain. Fearing this, he created Soul Calibur to combat his son, killing him. Unable to live with the grief, he disappeared in slumber, until he was awaken by the clashing of the Soul Swords. Narrator of the movie.

Ivy defeats Cervantes, who loses his half of Soul Edge, dropping it in the throne room.

Raphael comes across the fallen half of Soul Edge, and looks to obtain for himself, but he ends up fighting with Voldo for it. Raphael defeats Voldo, allowing Amy to take the half of Soul Edge. They run into Tira, who takes Amy and the other half of Soul Edge. Raphael chases after them, but are stopped by Kilik and Xianghua. Raphael fights both Kilik and Xianghua, but is defeated, and decides to go after Tira.

Kilik tries to sacrifice himself to atone for his past sins, but Xianghua intervenes convincing him not to. Kilik is then stopped by Zasalamel, who tells him that fighting to atone for your sins is worth more than silently sacrificing yourself.

Sophitia and Cassandra do battle, much to the delight of Tira. Cassandra is about to lose, until she made a last desperate attack, stabbing Sophitia in the heart. Cassandra mourns the loss of her sister, but turns her attention to Tira, who she then fights. Before Cassandra could kill Tira, she is sucked through a portal by Nightmare, who gained full control of Soul Edge.

Raphael confronts Tira about the other half of Soul Edge and Amy. Raphael fights Tira, defeating her, but is then killed by Nightmare. Amy flees, but is then stopped by Talim. Amy then joins Talim and her group.

Taki confronts Siegfried, telling him that he shouldn't be allowed to live, because of him wielding one of the Soul Swords. Taki and Siegfried fight, but is later stopped by Hilde, causing Taki to flee.

Maxi and Rock fight Astaroth. Maxi is about to die, but Rock sacrifices himself, allowing Maxi time to finish him off.

Mitsurugi and Setsuka are dueling at the top of a decorated mountain with columns around them. Setsuka is about to win, then suddenly a throne drops from the sky, followed by the appearance of Algol. Other fighters attack Algol at once, but are knocked away by the sheer strength of Algol.

Siegfried and Hilde meet up with Kilik and Xianghua, who are also joined by Zasalamel. Zasalamel explains that he must be sent to the future to prevent the swords from causing any further devastation. Siegfried agrees, but then tells Xianghua that he must need the other half of Soul Calibur to defeat Nightmare.

Siegfried and Nightmare clash in a epic battle as their swords collide, while Kilik, Xianghua, and Zasalamel join the other warriors in their battle against Algol. Nightmare has the upper hand against Siegfried, and is about to harvest his soul, but Zasalamel intervenes as Soul Calibur and Soul Edge opens a time rift, sending Zasalamel into the future.

Talim resurrects Arcturus in the hopes to quell Algol.

Siegfried manages to defeat Nightmare, and joins Hilde, Kilik, and Xianghua in their battle against Algol. Kilik, Xianghua, Hilde, and Siegfried defeat Algol. Algol tries to retaliate but is stopped by Talim, who reunites him with his son Arcturus. Arcturus wants to make amends with his father, but Algol's anger doesn't allow him, which causes to attack him, Talim, Kilik, Xianghua, Hilde, and Siegfried.

Siegfried defeats Algol, sending him, Nightmare, Soul Edge, Arctuus, and Soul Calibur to another dimension.

In the third movie...

Protagonists

Kilik: Still looking to atone for his sins, he figures that the only way to achieve this is to sacrifice himself, while trying to destroy the Soul Swords

Xianghua: One of the two wielders of Soul Calibur, which allows her to see visions of the future be it catastrophic or not. When she sees a vision of Kilik wanting to end his life, she decides to intervene

Maxi: An Okinawan pirate fueled by revenge and anger, he will stop at nothing to defeat Astaroth. He is joined by Rock.

Mitsurugi: Wandering samurai in search of the strongest opponents in the world. He hears rumors of an ancient great king that was undefeated in battle, and once wielded Soul Edge and Soul Calibur

Taki: Ninja from the Fu-Ma Clan. She witnessed the battle between Siegfried and Night Terror, focusing on the clashing Soul Swords. She decides that the swords must be destroyed once and for all.

Cassandra: Baker's daughter turned Greek warrior, her search for her sister Sophitia and her niece leads her to Ostrheinsburg, hoping to find answers to her questions.

Talim: Wind priestess of Southeast Asia. She joins Hwang and Seong Mi-Na on their quest to prevent Yun-Seong from obtaining Soul Edge. She is also aware of Soul Calibur's true nature.

Yun-Seong: Proud Korean warrior who ran away from his dojo in search of Soul Edge. He believes that the sword will save his homeland, not aware that the sword is evil.

Siegfried: One of the two wielders of Soul Calibur, he believes that his redemption must come from defeating Nightmare in battle.

Ivy: Alchemists and wielder of the whip sword, she seeks to destroy the Soul swords as well as her father Cervantes.

Zasalamel: Ancient immortal guardian of the Soul Swords, he wanted to use the swords for his own personal use, but after a vision of the future, he decides to use the Soul Swords to transport himself there to stop catastrophes from happening.

Hilde: Princess of Wolfkrone. She joins Siegfried, Kilik, and Xianghua as she fights to save her homeland from Nightmare. Siegfried's love interest.


Antagonists:

Nightmare: One of the two wielders of Soul Edge. He looks to kill Siegfried, and fuse his whole being into his armor again. He also laid siege to Wolfkrone

Tira: A young, loyal servant of Nightmare, she works in the shadows of history, doing Nightmare's bidding, killing for enjoyment. Responsible for the abduction of Sophitia's niece.

Cervantes: One of the two wielders of Soul Edge. Undead pirate who looks to seize full control of the demonic sword

Raphael: A vampiric nobleman who looks to seize control of Soul Edge and Soul Calibur to create a new world for him and his daughter Amy to live in.

Sophitia: Once a chosen warrior for Hephaestus, she is forced to do Soul Edge's bidding in order to save her daughter's life.

Astaroth: A giant golem created by a newly reformed Fygul Cestemus, he ventures to retrieve Soul Edge for his own bloodlust

Voldo: A blind servant of Soul Edge and guardian of his former master's tomb, he serves Nightmare, but at the same time, looks to obtain Soul Edge, and bring it back to his former master's tomb.

Amy: Once a peasant girl who saved Raphael from certain death, she has joined him in the battle for the Soul Swords.

Algol: An ancient king from a civilization long ago, he was undefeated and wielded Soul Edge before his son used it for his own personal gain. Fearing this, he created Soul Calibur to combat his son, killing him. Unable to live with the grief, he disappeared in slumber, until he was awaken by the clashing of the Soul Swords. Narrator of the movie.

Astaroth vs Maxi & Rock: Maxi & Astaroth wield the soul edge power. But due to Maxi's soul of retribution, he couldn't think straight during his fight with Astaroth.

Cassandra vs Sophitia: A fight between two sisters had begun. Cassandra wielding SC while Sophitia wielding SE.

As for Yoshimitsu & Setsuka, they should team up with Kilik, Xianghua & Zasalamel. After the fight between Siegfried & Nightmare, the evil azure knight defeats him, as Sieg rushes to the others to stop Algol.

Talim & Seong Mi-Na vs Yun-Seong: During their fight. Talim's elbow blades glow; one in SC and the other in SE form. When she stopped the fight between Mi-Na & Yun-Seong, she shows Yun-Seong what his fate will be if he wielded the evil power. Shocked and confused, he takes the SC elbow blade from Talim and shatters his own sword that SE tainted, when he realized his mistake.

Siegfried, Kilik, Xianghua, Hilde, Setsuka, Cassandra, Yoshimitsu, Mitsurugi, Seong Mi-Na & Talim vs Algol: He rushes to the others and helps them defeat Algol. Algol is finally defeated by Siegfried. Though exhausted from the calibur's power. However, Sophitia still consumed by SE's control seizes the moment to wield the sword in hopes of protecting her family. Siegfried tries to stop her and begs her not to use it after all its put everyone through. Sophitia filled confusion gets attacked by the sword. But Algol who was out cold in the fight regains unconscious as he witnesses what is happening. The others were unable to stop her... but Algol was able to reach to her and making her understand the mistake she'll make. Algol asks for Sieg to hand over his sword. He uses the swords to end the war and reuniting with his son.
