Best of PSN #6 wtf happened to 5?

Shinji, you are 20 years old. You should never call anybody your "master". Just FYI buddy:)

Yeah, I don't anymore but I was young at the time and terrible at this game so SORBO was one of the great players that I just really looked up to and wanted to be just as good as him or better. You must have HAD a favorite Cervy player who is worthy for you to call master, at least once somewhere along your SC "career".

No. Not at all actually. I've Hates and DevilJim teach me some Cervantes stuff over the years but never did I once refer to them as "mentor" or "master". I'm a grown man and they are too, that's just very weird.

I still teach people Cervantes stuff now, nearly everyday I get a PM asking about Cervantes and never did any of them refer to me as master or mentor, cause again, that's creepy and probably illegal in most states.

Best of PSN #6 wtf happened to 5?

wow you have to be pretty dumb to say what you say and HOW you say it!!.. a,k(mid, mid) which in the world of forum and universal text here, is A,(comma) which means "followed by" in this case which (K) is the followed input..there is however a+k.. ak or aK does not exist in my SC4 grammar...pshhh, go watch more vids of real players with skilled knowledge!!

BTW..what school do you go to?..do they not teach reading/grammar and punctuations there?!..well there's a BIG HOLE right there!!

Oh and btw, that link probably hasn't been updated with CORRECT inputs with punctuations, so keep pretending i already didn't know what i was talking about...we all know i did :) done.

I understand but it's not that serious for me at least, I guess it all depends on the way you look at it.

And lol, are you a Law Abiding Citizen?

Best of PSN #6 wtf happened to 5?

eh yeah, i've said it quite a bit outside of the actual moderators because they get sensitive when you tell them they aren't doing their job or try to get them to do their job. i know for a fact that voldo's wiki shows incorrect data. it hasn't been edited since it was posted over a year ago. i imagine there's one forum that get's updated consistently, but i wouldn't know the answer to that.

Best of PSN #6 wtf happened to 5?

Nah Enk, don't worry about that, some of 'em are pretty busy outside of moderating with life etc.. to update, quite a few of them will at some point getting around to it with correcting inputs.

I can already tell your I.Q. is somewhere between 0 and 70...

Soul Calibur Language and English Grammar are two totally different things, you CANNOT compare them... When writing an SC notation one would not use the punctuation, Comma, where it IS NOT NEEDED. Otherwise, other players would misunderstand what you are talking about. Point in Case.

A,K and ak are two totally different notations in which A,K for Xia doesn't exist for one, and A,K is not a fast input it is simply pressed or tapped once. No drag required.

You are making a failed attempt to cover you own ass by trying bring English Grammar into the mix. But you left yourself a huge HOLE by posting this...

Which contain over 40 ENGLISH grammatical errors, and yes I did count. You should quit while your already behind or you'll continue to fall behind. You lost this argument a long time ago there is no coming back for you.

MIND DRIZZLE'S POST. Now ask yourself, "Does Algol have a 2nd UB?"

In case you don't understand, let me dumb it down for you in SC Language. UB mean UnBlockable so in other words, "Does Algol have a second unblockable?"

hmmm..nobody backing you up Shinji, except yourself of course:rolleyes: keep flappin' your gum's with nonsense....go away.. wow..you really cant tell the difference between net talk and actual English grammar?..really go away... and your understanding from others viewing your posts and how stupid you sound has dwindled tremendously in many eye's i'm sure!!!!!!

Also you forgot to fix your REAL problem with grammar in your own posts, correct yourself before attempting to correct others if you can help it..but woops..too late for that!!... that's 2 BIG HOLES!! at least in my posts i've tried to at least educate in some serious form and not blatantly say/ tell others they are wrong when you've been corrected numerous times from me just on character move inputs/moves that DO exist...kthnxbye!

Not really sure what you guys are talking about, but for clarity's sake Calibur notation "A, K" translated to English means "Press A, then press K."

Alternately, "aK" means "Press A, and quickly slide to K" or "Press A, and while holding A for a split second, press K" This is nearly synonymous with "A~K."

Finally, X does not have a string denoted as "A, K" so the notation would indicate you to "Press A, and once the move has resolved, press K." Technically, everyone in the game "has A, K" though it may not be a natural string.

P.S. Ellipsis (...) always include three or more periods. Two is a grammatical mistake.

Best of PSN #6 wtf happened to 5?

Actually, Shinji's notation looks right and yours looks wrong Justkill from the way we've done the SC notation for years now, since SC2. A,K with Xianghua isn't a move, unless you're talking about just doing a single A and then once she finishes the A animation, doing a K, which would be in total just doing an A slash (high) and then a standing kick (high). The notation aK is the one that signifies that the imput is a slide imput, where the lower case a is pressed and then the K is pressed immediately after, canceling the animation of that a slash and doing a different move. More examples of this are bK with Cervantes, kB with Kilik. A+K is a simultaneous press, aK is a slide imput (this exists for Xianghua). a,k would be pressing a then pressing k, like the Maxi string 3B,A but of course X doesn't have a string that goes a,k.

Edit: Damn, Esom beat me to it!

@YAF yes, one of the "universal" ways of typing the command out, but for the majority % of players here will/do understand that saying, a,k(no space in between which SHOULD specify that it follows the move directly afterwards) or like you said YAF, A~k, which Shinji used neither of them are the most used, i RL players would say it as "A to K string"..they wont say it as in "A comma K string" know what i saying?...but that's not the case really, he was/is trying to tell me that A,K a.k.a. A~K doesn't exist... and i thoroughly explained it so he could understand i knew EXACTLY what i was saying..its a 2 hit string that hits m,m..he just wanted to get at my nerves with word manipulation..when mentally he knew wtf i was talking about...then again not everybody uses the same text format for move inputs now do they fella's?..to each his/her own i guess

but small example.. you don't see people in the Vader threads say 1ba(well some but not all, everyone does it different), but.. leaving out the comma punctuation implies its a multi-pressing input(WITHOUT spaces in between the letters), we say 1b,a or 1b~a, both indicating that the initial 1b is followed directly after with an (a) input..c'mon guys really, the argument wasn't even about this to begin with, it was that of a stringed move that he tried to say that I don't know what i am saying/talking about, which he very well knows I KNOW exists...it was about the stupid string i said he was spamming along with 2k for online shenanigans the other night we played and, respect of frames and player respect which he showed non to myself or g0ofus..plain and simple.

like i said if i make it to GAMME(which will be OFFLINE), we can money match each other which you haven't responded to me yet...hmmmm.

No man, I don't use "~" when writing an SC notation but if that is what you meant then it was a misunderstanding on my part, and I apologize for that.

@YAF..lol on the grammatical error, i know this, i was typing too quick!!...but if you notice i use 3 or more in a majority of my posts overall, cool that you saw that though :)
