See ShaolinTiger.......Its assholes like this that have that "tool" I was talkin bout. The internet. Gives everyone a voice with no reprecussions. EVERYONE is a tough guy behind a computer screen while sitting in thier mommys basement.

Its assholes like this that are just famous for being idiotic TROLLS. He hates the game. He has said it, over and over and over and over again. But look. Hes STILL HERE. Posting up in other threads bout the same shit. Its SCRUBS like this THAT DONT MATTER! These are the haters that spread the hate for this game like cancer. At least try to. But most of the time, aint no one listening to these fuckin morons.

But at the same time, no matter how many times you tell em "go away", they keep coming back. A pathetic low life that has nothing better to do, should not dictate what you think of this game.

If you like the game. Promote it. Dont be a fuckin trolling panzy like this idiot.

damn-I-Suck, this series can be saved through the fan's support and loyalty. If you hate this game so much, why are you even on a forum dedicated to Soul Calibur? This game doesn't belong in a trash bin, it needs more adjustments. You pretty much go by what your forum name says because damn you suck and you suck big time.
 
Sorry but i have to agree with the guy who said the game is garbage! I'm not trying to be a troll but you have to admit this game sucks! Two things killed it for me. 1 No yun sung. how could leave him out like that! that was my best character really disappointing to see him not in. 2.little game modes! I mean where is the content and replay value.. Playing story mode over and over is a bit boring. also another thing whats with that lame xiba guy stealing kilik moves! and then making kilik a random character.

4 things need to be done to fix this. 1- get rid of the dumb new characters like xiba or the girl with the ball. 2- give kilik back his moves and make that lame xiba dead! 3- bring back my favorite player yun-sung! 4- add more replay value; not everyone plays online.

Adapt and pick up a new character, he was never good anyways.

Count the game modes on SFIV or UMvC3. There isn't anything to complain about in this department. Also Kilik was trained by Edgemaster, him being a mimic character actually makes sense. Just because the "skin" of a moveset changes doesn't mean it's a big deal.

What's the point of playing a fighting game by yourself? I don't get it, the AI is too easy and if it isn't too easy it's reading your inputs doing perfect counters to everything. AI doesn't adapt, always falls for frametraps, never for mixups, and break your throws by input reading.

People feel as though an updated SC5 version is what will "Save SC", but it is either too early or too late for that. Plus doing that won't help the series. It would just be like doing what Capcom did with SSF4, and SSF4: AE, or Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and whatever that expansion is called. It would make them greedy, even though DLC seems to be a little hint that they need some money anyways.

The series itself isn't going to die though, especially when there are players, tournament and casual, who love this series enough to keep it active.

Though I still think Arcade is what could get more of Japan's attention to this series, while boasting some advertisement up. It could even improve in the next game's presentation. Look at Tekken.

While making it Arcade first could be my own personal hypothesis, I'm just going based on obvious differences between Soulcalibur then and Soulcalibur now.

They already are greedy, absolutely. That´s what a company is about. It´s their job to release a product that will be bought and enriches it. They always need more money, it´s quite natural for them. And they are doing fine with all kind of people buying every single dlc that is thrown at them. Nothing bad about that, though. I also buy a lot of dlc stuff. But I doubt that an update will change that attitude, and make them greedier. The only question is "will the cost of crafting the update be compensated with enough money to make it worth the effort and time".
 
I understand what you guys are saying but I just feel like soul calibur 5 feels too different with all the new characters and gameplay thats on there. Also I play with a few people offline but mostly by myself and it's fun to me. I want more bonus game modes and unlockable weapons like on SC3.

It's not that easy to just forget about your favrotie character man. I was beast with yun sung and i knew a lot of his moves and some combos. He was good if you knew how to play his style. But hes not the only reason why i think soul calibur 5 sucks.

They should've thought about that before giving us CAS DLC.
 
ANOTHER LONG RANT!
HRD, better not miss your chance to troll me!

I'm with greenmachine (to an extent). The only reason people are saying sc3 sucked was because of the glitches, and balance. Imagine if they had removed VC, fixed all other glitches, and balanced out the characters, then it would be the best SC, hands down. Despite what everyone says, I enjoyed having 40+ styles to choose from, not to mention the best single player modes this series has ever seen.

I never even knew about VC until I read/saw it online. Despite trying it over and over, I could never get it to work. Those who used it broke the game intentionally and have no soul!

You know, a lot of games have exploitable glitches, and you don't see fans saying "this game is broken" nearly as often. Just simply don't do VC, problem solved. Truth is, SC fans are whiny little bitches.

The reason Sc5 failed (in my eyes), was because they tried too hard to be like other fighters (inferior ones IMO). All the mechanical changes were there to attract SF fans and whatnot. Even the announcer in sc5 sounds like the one in MK!

Bottom line, previous mechanics worked for SC, the were not broken, they worked fine, everyone liked it. They really need to get "back to their roots". At this point, saying this is like smashing an already broken record, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

And the new characters are either lame replacements, or stupid character designs anyway. I mean look at ZWEI and Viola, they both came from some anime garbage concept. They don't belong in SC, but they fit in great in Crapcom games.

So, you may wonder, why am I still here? Well I made some good friends on this site, so I'm staying. Do I still play Sc5, hell fucking no! I sold that shit before the price goes to almost nothing. Sc5 and diablo 3 were the worst 60 bucks I've ever spent.

Basically, people are STILL bitching because their former main/favourite/wifu/husbando isn't in it.

I suggest these people go away, study up, do some learning, and figure out how to deal with it, before returning freshly matured and ready to adapt.

My only real gripe is the lack of single player content, but it seems they're clearly pushing SC into 'serious fighting game' territory, with the amount of online support and ridiculous balance. At the end of the day, this is a multiplayer fighting game. That's it's heart, soul and core. It's the whole purpose for it's being, and everything else is bells and whistles. Will everyone like it? No. So what can those people do?

Leave.

Fact is, this game doesn't have those things, and won't have those things, no matter how much bitching and whinging and crying everyone does. If you want to see those things, seems like you'll need to wait for either a "super" SCV, or SCVI. Because you can guarantee P.S are WELL AWARE of the fan's comments and feedback. But there's nothing they're going to do now.

So play the game as is, or go somewhere else. You're the problem with the community.
 
^I just hate that the people that complain about the changes can't even explain why the don't like said change. If you don't like something at least be able to explain why you don't like it. >.<

To be honest though, I like the mechanics in SCV. I can actually move unlike in SCIV. Lol
