Cervy could do it if CE was a mid. :*(
But unfortunately there are still moves that are like -10 on JG that recover in crouch. But still gotta love that JG aB punish on AA and BB.

I usually dont JG the second hit usually cause I am amazing like that. And yeah, I want the ability to be able to hit people out of TC frames with the CE like ivy or Asta Kappa
 
i10 Mid unblockable CE seems legit.

It'd be unbalanced, sure, but to be fair, it's a frickin' gun. xD
In a game with mostly swords and mild powers, a gun is a tad on the unfair side, and I guess it would make sense.

In any case, while trying to secondary Cervy my main focus thus far has been trying to work on my iGDR. Thus, my matches with him have kind of been played by ear since I haven't actually taken the time to look at a guide yet. I use aB a lot, and I don't know if it's good or not, but it usually works fairly well when I use it. I try to use 1K but it gets blocked a lot, and I'm pretty sure I should be trying to use 1AB (1A:B) more often.
Any other moves I should be using?

Using aB a lot is good if the person isn't punishing which a lot of players find hard to. 1K is rubbish, stick to 2K and 1a,b. 11K is good depending on which character you're playing since most can't punish it that well and it's + on hit. Test your opponent if they can block it (some can't, even though I think its easy) and mix it up with 44A since the startup looks similar.

Dont forget 4aB, people fall for that the same way, has a delayable second hit and can fully combo.
 
I was saying that 11K, 22A, and 44A all of similar startup animations. A lot people will twitch duck 44a thinking it's 11K.

I know that, and I said that 4aB is actually one of the move that causes the same effect, and has the best payoff when it hits.
 
Hey everyone. Just thought I would let you all know that the Cervantes scII SA is building up. Right now I am looking for reliable frame data for scII. If anyone wants to help me out with that let me know. We still have quite a long time before the game releases so we are in no rush but all help is appreciated.
 
I had what felt like my most gratifying match finish the other day.
Opponent was Devil Jin, went airborne and tried to fly over me right as I was about to iGDR, so he flew right into a iTS. xD
It felt so awesome just knocking him out of the air.
 
Pretty much any character with a superjump is really satisfying to hit with iTS or 8B+K. And stopping Yoshi's Dragonfly mixups with a quick B2. It's so fun to do that to someone offline and watch them just go "WHAT."
 
I still think reading a jumping attack and catching them with b2 is the best. Actually I landed a b2 at the ring edge when a Pyrrha player tried a 8B+K in a tourney and dumped them out :) Man I wish that was on stream.

Nothing makes me happier than to use an 8 B+k on a mitsu that super jumps in the air. Or to use the aGI that considers the opponent airborne(cough patroklos 236 a, b) followed by an igdr and CE. Theres just so many flashy things you can do with Cervantes that other characters can't.
 
was trying to do the simple 3B 8B+K iGDR combo, but it didn't work. can someone tell me why it didn't come out? the inputs look about right, the B was input just when 4 appeared, so why did the game disregard it and gave me normal GDR instead?

that's the thing... I already returned to neutral from 8B+K, and the guy was falling down farther than what I saw in the combo video, I have to hit that 214B, and even if I did 214B in time, I will only be able to hit otg at best so I couldn't do the CE afterwards. the game just refuse to give it to me.
