In this special thread, the viewers will pick their favorite characters out of these seven, but with a catch: you can only pick one! All polls are still open! Let's recap:

:sc4roc1:Rock: Have you forgotten about him until reading this? Maybe or maybe not? The votes on people who love him or indifferent are near even.

:sc2tal1:Talim: The pure-hearted wind priestess is almost certainly a fan favorite. How do I know? She is the only one in all of my polls to have broken 20 likes!!! Will history repeat itself?

:sc2yun2:Yun-Seong: Just like with Rock, likes and indifference were pretty even.

:sc4min1:Seong Mi-na: Most people seem to like her. Still has a solid fan-base!

:sc3zas1:Zasalamel: Score many likes and placed second in the series of threads! I almost didn't make a thread about him because I thought the answer was too obvious.

The next two contestant may not have their own episodes, but they were the top two leads of the sword and shield thread! I almost regret allowing multiple votes.

:sc4cas1:Cassandra: Current leader for most loved (human) sword and shield user, attracts fans with her spunky personality and aggressive moves!

:sc4sop1:Sophitia: Placed second! Appears in the Single-player only Soul Calibur: Lost Swords and makes a guest appearance in Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate.

Maybe if Soul Calibur: Unbreakable Soul was a non-canon dream match game that brings back all of the characters in the series much like Tekken Tag Tournament 2, that would be awesome!

Top 10 Most Hated Soul Calibur Characters List: Which choices do we disagree with and why?
I want to be clear on this: I want to make this thread, not because I hate this guy (I am respectful of his opinions and sometimes do agree with him), but because I want a civil discussion over his videos unlike the mess that happened long ago. Maybe after this, I would make a thread on which entries on his top favorites list we agree on and why. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, and as for annoying voices, I've heard worse...

In theory Rock was one of my mains, so i was going to put there my vote, but for many reasons the lack of Zasa is worse

I don´t get it, who exactly would be that replacement? You are not talking about Patroklos or Pyrrha, right? I mean, replacement for me is someone who has very similar fighting style, wich I don´t see in those two apart of being S&S
 
I'm going to be a shit and vote for Yun-seong. To clarify, I don't care if Yun himself makes it, but playing as him in SCIV was some of the most fun I've had actually fighting in the Soul games (even if he didn't have Land Walk).

As for an actual character, I'm pretty neutral toward all of the characters listed, but I think Zasalamel would make the best addition, since his style is the most unique.
 
Though it was between Yun and Zasalamel for me, if I could only choose one it would have to be Zasalamel. His style was of play is unique. Pushing and pulling you opponent around the ring, Id like to get a try with him in a new game.

Truthfully I did not play SC5 and I heard Reg Pyrrha is like Cassandra. But hey they don't play like her then they should put her in the next game.

Well, actually Pyrrha is more like Sophitia

There is no character who has similar fighting style with Cassandra in SCV
 
LOL!! TALIM FTW!! =] "Winds... Please guide everyone in this topic to their true emotions...."

I'm glad she's winning but realistically her + Zasalamel are the most unique, the badass scythe wielder, you just need him. Talim has the most charisma out of all of them because for one, we already have ENOUGH large breasted women in soul calibur, all with differing personalities. Her Tofna style reminds me of Ellie's from Rave Groove Adventrue.
 
Plot-wise: Zas / Talim / Cassandra and Sophitia are needed

but Seung mina and Yung Seung personality wise seem to fit the most in with the new direction this series seems to be going with the fluster of tropy characters that have, the typical unrealistically confident and youthfully cocky attitude.

But Cassandra also has that personality, and I believe more than those two.

Not really. Shes confident and devoted because shes fighing for a consistant cause. Shes never happy-go-lucky blinded by cocky ignorance like Seung Mina is. Seung Mina has no purpose or independant story but only fights just for fun making her uselessly irrelevant to the main story. She also has that smirky "I will never lose because I told ' ya so" attitude where as cassandra is more "I won't lose; I will find my family" confidence with a purpose behind it. Where as if Seung Mina she never came back the story wouldn't change at all.

Cassandra is arrogant and rude, not cocky and ditzy.

If Seung Mina,Yun Seung, Talim, and Cassandra come back they would all have a more mature personality. Zas would either be older (does he grow old, die and reincarnate or he stay the same age until he's killed) or got reincarnated and he a teenager rather have the first one.

Also if Sophitia were to come back I can not see as the goody goody too shoes she was in previous games. I really thought she was going to be the new Nightmare in that 2011 comic con trailer. She would come back like Jun Kazama and have some evil form maybe not the new Nightmare because Raf is (but this time it's canon until Namco chances their mind again). I do not see this a happy family reunion for Pat and Pyhrra.
