Alright, just completed it on hard. Slighty disappointed. The game's largest asset, the story, is not as engaging in Awakenings. I hardly cared for my team members, my 'town' or the darkspawn. No idea why everyone should become a grey warden when there is no Archdemon.
It's a huge game, in my view. Even for an add-on. I'll probably spend a good 30~40 hours in it, doing two playthroughs.
Indeed a shame that romances are out. Hardly any reason to visit 'the camp' now. My arcane warrior/battle mage/spirit healer on hard is slicing through the game though. Next...
DA:O was, by far, my favourite game of 2009. One of the greatest RPG's of all time. Not revolutionary, but it did so many things incredibly right. The first time I actually 'felt' troubled making certain decisions (Possessed Connor comes to mind).
Have to wait till the 19th till it comes out...

Didn't see Couture going over Nog anyway, but Couture's a class act. Jardine never stood a chance as expected. T. Silva is a monster.
Most shocking part is (iirc) Chris Leben having Condom Depot on his...
I'm not a big fan of the Saw movies. The blood and gore is very unnecessary and don't make it pleasant to watch. I want to be scared during a movie, not grossed out.
I also loved:
- 28 days later (not 'weeks', that one sucked)
- Let the right one in (Swedish movie, very sick in a nice way)...
I learned playing SF with the keyboard. Never really got the practise with a stick until last year. I think I would do way better with a keyboard anyways.
In 3d games it requires more hold buttons though. Keyboards tend to fuck that up.
If you're not playing with a keyboard, you have no...
