Easiest SC5 character to learn

Stance characters in fighting games usually aren't entry level. Look at Gen in SF4 for example. Hardest character in the game, harder than both Viper, El Fuerte, Makoto, Akuma, etc.

Sieg is kind of soso for newbs. On the one hand the majority of his moves are easy to execute which appeals to beginners but on the other hand he has a lot of stances and transitions which need to be memorized and demands a rather defensive, spacing playstyle. He's just no button mash material.

When i started with Soul Edge, i had the most fun with mitsu. I think its a pretty straight forward char that i would recommend for beginners.

Mitsu all the way, easiest char since SE.

I find astaroth to be pretty easy too. Simple move inputs, simple combos that don't require godly execution, not an exceptionally large move list either. He's a no-bullshit, nothin' fancy, but get's the job done kind of character.

Anything that has a high ''Ease of Use'' degree is a easy character to learn.

Pyrrha and Mitsurugi.

Beginner friendly characters ----

Least execution and memorization: Mitsurugi.

More execution but not memorization: Patroklos and Pyrrha.

More memorization but not execution: Leixia.
