Project Soul wants to know your favorite characters!

  • Admin
Early this morning, the SoulCalibur Facebook page opened a poll to see who are the fan favorite characters in the series. The list seemed to have every playable SoulCalibur character in the list to choose from. The only ones I didn't see when I was skimming were the bonus characters introduced in SCIII and SCIV.

Considering that the vote includes Lost Swords character, then it is safe to say that this is for a future SoulCalibur VI character roster. Please note that this is not a confirmation for a SoulCalibur VI. It is only speculation on my part. If you would like to have your voice to be heard, then you should get on your Facebook account and follow the directions in the spoiler below.

VOTE FOR THE FUTURE OF SOULCALIBUR

Calling all SoulCalibur Fans! Project Soul would like to hear your voice.

They need to determine precisely who are the favorite characters of the community!
Beware, you can vote only once so choose carefully and wisely.
You still have time to think about it as this survey will last until May 31st.

Project Soul is probably preparing something huge... Stay tuned and spread the news! Thank you.

Be VERY CAREFUL when filling out the information before voting. The form allowed me to manually fill in my information, but messed around to see if I could skip the email part and move on. I figured out the hard way that once you are done with the first name, last name, and email part, you are then locked out from editing it altogether. I ended up borrowing my Mom's Facebook just so that I could finally get my vote in. However, when I used her account it auto-filled her information for whatever reason. All of that was a pain for me, but the voting part was easy.

You can only vote for one character when you do this. All you have to do is click the heart when you're hovering over the picture and that will count as a single vote. Who did you vote for? Comment and let us know who you want in the next SoulCalibur game!

WHENS SOULCALIBUR VI
How would you guys react if they didn't announce SCVI at E3, but SCIII HD with barely functional online and unnoticeable graphical upgrade?

It's supposed to be a triple A title being announced... So I doubt it would be an HD port of SCIII. A complete remaster maybe, but not a HD port. Nevertheless I still hope it's SCVI.

Going off topic a little. Do you all think that pay to win games have gone too far? I have one I was playing, only realized it was a problem when I spent $124 for a 50\50 chance for a game changing unit and lost.

Thing is, people pay those prices, but balk at a $70 price for off the shelf games. I dunno, it's been on my mind.

There are fair free to play games though, like Hearthstone. I never paid but $50 for the expansions for it and have over half the legendaries there. Meh, I know, off topic ish.

I just wonder and worry if free to play will kill off mainstream console games one day because of the profit to cost difference.

Yes,they have.
In Lost Swords you had to pay 90$ to unlock a certain character.

Sadly I would have paid $200 to have Talim in SC5

Part of me says though, that it would not have been right in a sense though. I understand the free to play model lets anyone play and then choose to pay what they want, but yet the idea seems so terribly wrong. They rope you into playing constantly, hitting max level, throwing impossible challenges at you, which to some extent I enjoy until they become impossible.

Anyways, it would be sweet if normal games had a way for people to pay more if they wanted to for a game, but everyone wants to get something for their money, hence why DLC exist.

I didn´t read anything about an upcoming triple A titel. Am i missing something?

I don't think this will be the unannounced title (Also hoping it isn't). Seems that Project Soul have been very silent on their Facebook page after the poll, they're only posting about Lost Swords and haven't said anything at all about the poll. Also, don't forget they did say that the Poll will be "something huge" for the future of the series... I'm still sticking with Project Soul announcing something at e3!
