I thought I start a new fresh thread about SC's movie.

If there was a movie of soul calibur, how would you see the characters & plot?

In the first movie, it'll be based on SC3. And the second movie, it'll be based on SC4, where Siegfried's mission against Nightmare is left off. Think of those two movies as part 1 & 2.

In the third movie, it'll be based on SC5, except not like the game's story.

Anybody got good movie story plot ideas for SC? Anything that'll be going to the charts?

What if in the movie, someone in the modern world tells their kid(s) a bedtime story and its all about the two soul swords.

In the first movie its about Kilik as the protagonist, the second movie Siegfried is the protagonist and if later, Patroklos can take over as the hero.

As much as I would love to see a SC movie, it wouldn't work out since most movies based off video games (the live action ones anyway) don't fare well. Instead, they should go the Mortal Kombat: Legacy route. Season 1 focuses on the events of Soul Blade and SC1 (narrated by Edge Master), Season 2 focusing on the events of SC2 through 3 (narrated by Zasalamel), and Season 3 focusing on the events of SC4 (narrated by Algol), all with reimagined iterations of our favorite characters.

The main protagonists would be Xianghua and Siegfried, since they both wield Soul Calibur. Secondary protagonists include Kilik, Maxi, Talim, Taki, The Koreans The Alexandras, Hilde, and Mitsurugi. The main antagonists would be Cervantes and Nightmare, because they wielded Soul Edge. Secondary antagonists would be Astaroth, Lizardman/Aeon, Tira, Voldo, Raphael, Inferno, Elysium, and Algol. Ivy and Zasalamel would be the only neutral characters. Each episode will feature a character as the main subject (i.e. origin story) leading up to the events of their search for the lost swords as well as episodes centered around other characters i.e. Yoshimitsu, Setsuka, Rock. During some time, both Soul Calibur and Soul Edge will split in half (which will emphasis as to why Xianghua and Siegfried are the protagonists, and Cervantes and Nightmare being the antagonists, and teaming up in future episodes.)

That could work. Xianghua could also teach him how to use Soul Calibur, or have SC split in half allowing both Xianghua and Siegfried to use it.

Mitsurugi would be another protagonist. He'll be a rival at first, but he later joins the heroes.

- Astaroth - A servant of Nightmare hunted down by Maxi.
- Aeon Calcos - A servant of Nightmare who wants soul edge to free him of the curse that turned him into a lizardman. He fights Sophitia.
- Cervantes - The dead pirate who hungered for soul edge's power and is the father of Ivy.
- Inferno - The essence of Soul Edge.

- Siegfried - the new protagonist. Finally free from soul edge thanks to soul calibur. He now carries a shard of the pure sword given by Xianghua. However, the memories of him being Nightmare haunt him.
- Cassandra - Sister of Sophitia who seeks to find her sister. Joins with Siegfried to find her sister.
- Kilik - monk who seeks enlightenment to lift the burden he carries.
- Xianghua - Kilik's best friend and lover.
- Maxi - Kilik's other best friend who seeks revenge on Astaroth
- Mitsurugi - A samurai searching for true strength. One of Kilik's rivals.
- Talim - A warrior & priestess of the winds.
- Ivy - Once a servant of Soul Edge, now free of her own will after learning of her relation to Cervantes. She now seeks to destroy Soul Edge but also becomes an ally of Siegfried.
- Yun-Seong - A warrior who wants soul edge to protect his people. One of Mitsurugi's rivals.

Antagonists:
- Nightmare/Night Terror - main antagonist. Freed from Siegfried and unknowingly reborn by Zasalamel, he continues to hunger for souls without Sieg's will. No longer wielding Sieg's style, it carries a little but makes his own.
- Zasalamel/Abyss - The narrator & antagonist who wants to use the two soul swords to free him of his immortality.
- Tira - A servant of Soul Edge.
- Astaroth - A servant of Nightmare hunted down by Maxi.
- Raphael - Was once killed by Nightmare throughout the first movie, he was reborn as a vampire-like being who now seeks Soul Edge to reunite himself with Amy.
- Aeon Calcos - A servant of Nightmare who wants soul edge to free him of the curse that turned him into a lizardman. He fights Sophitia.
- Cervantes - The dead pirate who hungered for soul edge's power and is the father of Ivy.

During the fight with between Siegfried & Nightmare. Kilik, Xianghua & Maxi meet up with Talim. Where they encounter Zasalamel.

Cassandra fights Tira and while Maxi doesn't have a chance to fight Astaroth at the moment, Astaroth faces Rock. A battle between the giants of white & black had begun.

Of course Siegfried has to deal with Raphael.

Talim tries to stop Yun-Seong from getting Soul Edge trying to beg him not to wield it and that it is evil.

I like where this is going. What happens in the third movie? Do the swords split in half? And what happens with Sophitia?
