The broadcast will begin on Friday, October 28th at 9PM local time. On the broadcast, they will be introducing the game designers, giving lessons on SCV, and playing some casual matches. They will also answer questions submitted through Twitter via the hash tag #SCV_live.

The stream is now over, but check after the break for a link to the archive and the comments for a rundown of the main topics that were mentioned. Make sure to follow @Daishi_CALIBUR and @FilthieRich on Twitter for all of the latest Soulcalibur V developments.

9 pm "local time" through me off, local could be anywhere, should have been more specified. Well good thing we've got archives.

Local could be anywhere only if you don't read the entire post or check the list of local start times.

Next time I will just not put a time in the main post and force people to check the list of times that I had posted after the break. That way there will be no confusion.

Nyce Stream! Though, I couldn't understand a damn thing, those matches were too BEASTLY!

If I had to choose one word that would perfectly describe Leixia...It would be TRICK~AAAAYYYYeeee!!!!

Natsu-toe was a monster! She has so much potential, and that combo that she incorporated her CE in was insane!

Hilde was Revamped Oh-So-Well. It's kinda crazy though, because aside from 4 moves [Doom Combo-moves], I can't tell whether most of the moves she used are new, or old...Veddy Nyce, though.

That combo that Tira did on Raph in their last round, almost brought a tear to my eye...OOOooh I can't wait to play her [though I still wish they would give her back her SCIII stances]!

Oh, those Sieg cancels! So Nyce!

Pat's still badass!

ZWEI's looks so much better in the right hands...

Nightmare's lookin' to reclaim his SCII glory, or even surpass it at this point!

All in all, My mind was blown by those amazin' matches, and I can't wait to see more!

I've been saying for a while that this game was very different from SC4 and how much fun it was. You guys just haven't seen it because you've all been stuck watching the French play the game; and they play the game as if it was SC4.

Now you guys finally got to see what I was talking about.
I see what you mean, but then again I can't blame the French players for playing it like SCIV though. When we first saw SCV and saw how visually similar it was to SCIV, we all thought they would play a lot alike (some people even thought it should've been dlc for SCIV and not a full game). The director stressed that SCV was about change, but we only thought they referred to characters/moveset/gauges/story; not the flow of the gameplay itself lol

LEixia is waaaay to fluid I love it so much!
I'm starting to use Xianghua, but I want to still use Talim/Yoshi. I don't know what to do, X's style is comfortable to me.

What i'm about to post may be odd, but I might main Leixua if Talim/Yoshi isn't in V.

GASP! Don't worry Talim will be there, you don't have to down grade like that.

this is of course naught but speculation...although she does have a high chance of returning as she is one of the fan favorites (which is why Yoshimitsu will likely return as well).

Beasty, totally beasty!! Thank you for splitting the stream!!!

@Tira vs Raph, forest stage: Not sure, but it seemed that Raph manage to hit Tira with verticals while she was stepping. If so, noooooot good :(

New character alert! In the beginning there is what appears to be a female's outline. Could this be the Talim I've been waiting for?

Calm down it's not that big a deal. And I did read the post FYI doesn't specify anything. Like I said the archives are there.

All I was saying is a simple eastern, pacific, or just saying japan time and letting us figure out the rest is helpful. Was not intended as a personal attack.

Anyways so far.......

I like Leixia, I was worried about the speed issue but she seems just fine. I think the cancels are a nice touch to her style.

I feel like I'm getting a better picture of Ezio, wasn't really sure what to make of his play style before but now I feel like it's a little clearer.
