[Florida] lol, Florida thread

I am going to post this here since I have had no luck for two weeks now.

Is there room in anyone's car driving up to final round? I can find people for rooms, but rides are a problem to find and my two leads are now dead.

Please let me know soon. Thank you.

PS I can't afford 300+ plane tickets right now, so not an option.

I know Rob and me are making plans to go to the sore thumb's tournament on the 26th. What are the two tournaments you're talking about? I can't seem to find any FL tournaments in the announcement forum, other than the sore thumb's tourney.
 
Huh. We may be able to make them both, actually. If not, I think I'm going to go with Sore Thumbs, or whichever one more of the FL crew is going to.

Which one are you going to, Suirad?
 
I'm sure someone in the tampa area would offer a place. I'd offer, but I'll be staying with Rob, and I don't think his dad would let someone he's never met before sleep in his house. I could try and see if he would though.
 
Looking for players in the Treasure Coast! Vero Beach/Sebastian/Wabasso. Would be willing to travel to Palm Bay/Melbourne for a day of Calibur, I hate driving far distances to only play for an hour.
 
That Sore Thumbs tourney is on Xbox. You guys ok with that? Besides that, there's no guaranteed payout. That is kind of shady. I like the standard 70/20/10, but it doesn't seem like these guys are following that.

Anyways, I don't know if I'll have a ride. I'll hit up Rich and see if he wants to roll through. Darius, can you post a link to that other tourney? I couldn't find a thread for it.

there both on xbox, sadly. But sore thumbs is legit. Its where I won a copy of scv. The to, steven, is a really cool guy. Not shady at all
 
I think it's shady that there is no guaranteed prize payout. It's whatever he feels like giving. It could just be 25 bucks. I'm going to post in there and see if he has an exact prize payout.
 
Just letting y'all know i exist up here. Nobody playing this game where I'm at but i expected that. Was in the 8wayrun room this morning trying to learn something. last tourny i was in was arcade renaissance for sc4. Enkindu won, i came in 3rd with astaroth, looking for more practice. Hit me up on either system. i work nights but i can play while I'm here, but my ping will be zero because they block certain Ports here
