First off who in gods name is KBO? I've never seen of heard of this person....
Unfortunately, i wont be able to make it to EVO either i got my hopes really high and really tried my best to make it happen but I waited too late to register for one and didnt have the money to buy the ticket for 2 I wont have it until friday and by then its already too late. As far as I'm concerned there will be no big name leixia players unless Kayane pulls her out like some of you mentioned. ANd there is a great chance she will since i spoke to her on twitter we shared a few words about leixia.

But we will see in due time... in the mean time lets continue to support team leixia and strive to finding new things about her so we can show the world what she really do.
 
I've never known Japan to have an epic calibur squad so I've never paid much attention to them but you're right.
 
Hmmm... somebody is good because he's Asian.... How could I not see that?
Ok, now it makes sense that some guys think Leixia is good.
 
Lol at someone being automatically being good at SCV because they're Japanese. This ain't Street Fighter. Plus this is the first time in a long time that the Japanese are taking SC seriously.

well i take it you dont know who he is. well i do and he is hands down the best leixia around.
you will soon find out why hes the best, it has nothing to do with being Asian or not fact.
out of all these so called leixia players it takes someone 6 thousand miles away to represent her at evo says a lot.
i dont think anyone has a say with regards to KBO unless thee going to evo themselves.
KBO is the best leixia in the world hands down, so many of you under estimate the Japanese seen.
like i said just watch out for him he will show you why he is the best.
its a tie between maga and KBO for the best leixia.
but KBO is probably the best.
 
Actually, I have heard of him and seen some vids. And If he does work at EVO, great. I wish him the best of luck representing Lexy. I already said there's usually 1 player no one hears from doing well at EVO. In any game.

But I just get sooo tired of hearing "foreign player = amazing". Like it's impossible for anyone outside America to not be the best at something.
 
Where the heck are all of these KBO videos? Youtube gives me only 2 hits (two parts of the same thing), which is a 10on10 team battle where the part where KBO plays wasn't uploaded or has been taken down.

And now, US vs JPN quarrel came to SC as well... Can't wait till EVO.
Japan always was taking SC seriously, you just didn't paid any attention. It's been on SBO, etc.
You won't find many of their matches on youtube because they're using nico nico.
Oh, and Zero always had problems with people not calling him the best. I remember those FSAK threads...
 
i wish i could face KBO. i personally like my leixia better. would like to face other Leixia's online but when i do the difference in our level is pretty sad. have yet to find someone that gives me a good challenge with Leixia that i would be proud to lose to.

So is his nick Kbo or Kbokbo? Because searching Kbo and Leixia does not yield that video among the hits. Also, that's online, who cares? His opponent wasn't very good. And that was some very hoky Leixia play. Dropped frame traps, dropped pressure, weird combos, weird pressure, weird frame traps, weird Oki-zeme. Just all around weird. The fact that some of it worked is more of a testament to how bad the opponent was.

The Maga match was just a mess. It was like they didn't know their own frames and what they could punish what with. They both looked like amateurs.

It wouldn't surprise me if those two played each other a lot. So the mindgames aren't visible to everyone else.
Also, those particular vids are from pre-patch, check the upload dates. Videos aren't really the best judge of skill anyway.
