Dark Rhythm- My personal and absolute favorite CaS. Based to be a matured version of my SC4 CaS(A few pictures of this CaS because I like it so much :D)-The tattoos run down his left arm because he is left handed(Like myself XD)-

Usually, I stay away from black. However when I do use it, I always make sure there's another color or two, to ride alongside it. That being said, some caught my eye. Others aren't quite my taste. Regardless, keep on sharing.

Thank you for the honest feedback :) . I am currently working on more "Fun" CaS's(Not ones that I would use for fighting dressed in full black). When I finish my next set I will post them :D

May I ask what you mean? The actual photos or the characters? I know my 3p's kind of suck but I use them for battle only and I can not go without my strictly black outfit in battle :) , Or do you mean photo quality? I do not have a good capture device atm. Either way. The real CaS's are coming tonight :)

Usually I recycle CAS outfits because it's hard for me to make consistent good ones. Tired of CAS customs? Put the outfit on a SCV original haha.

But when it comes to hardcore play, I use a 1P or 2P recolor (think Yoshi 1p or his 2p) more than a custom.
 
:) just want to assure you all that my real CaSs are on the way. I am hopefully getting my capture device tonight. Also im going to spice up those boring 3p's for you all.

re-uploaded with as good as quality as I am going to get for a few months :) . I have no idea why it creates the black margins but there is nothing I can do about that T.T .

If you have some spare time I would love for you to tell me what you think :)

The new CaS's will be up tonight or tomorrow depending if I like the quality of them or not.

Took down the 3p's because I want fix them.
 
I like your creations, but I do agree with Pocky Yoshi. Also, Donutman has conditioned me to hate DMC creations no matter what because he has 50 of them that are played over and over again. Sometimes I can't sleep at night because of it. Your creation do look good for what they are, they just need a little more color like pocky said

Haha thanks for the feedback. and about the DMC characters...I love DMC and "I" even hate seeing them sometimes because there are so many around lol. I am working on a fresh batch of CaS's that will hopefully be more impressive than this group :) .

either way What version of dante is that supposed to be based off of? DMC4? Not bad but couod use some work, i like what you did with Nero though

I had 4 in mind. Hence the black shirt. He looks to young to be 2 XD. And dos chaps. It could use a bit of work you are right. And thanks or the Nero comment :D

For starters, the colors are a bit saturated. On some, mustard yellow by itself for instance is kinda meh. Imho, you gotta mix it up with colors. Some have the general idea, but it's gonna be tough for someone less educated to just stereotype and say, "hey, that's a guy in the wilderness".

Instead, of patterning up color blindly, try looking at SCV cast. Xiba fits the bill on how the CAS should look in wilderness for instance. While his shirt is raggy black, it's believable because the wilderness does that to you.

In fact pardon my pics of examples on how to captivate the audience more.

This a custom I left alone, but here's where I think of my audience. I thought a tomboyish kunoichi that makes you think Naruto.

The first thing I wanted to do was find items that look nice together then color them. I always tend to do 3 color scheme. In this case, I wanted to play with soft colors to enhance how feminine this CAS is. Pattern I used was a oriental one to match the fish on her skirt and her breastplate. Notice I use more than 3 colors yet I made sure none of them "scream" louder than the other. Then I added the wave sticker to enhance the fish theme I wanted for this ninja.


When comes to colors and stickers, too little means too simple while too much means too gaudy. You want the just right area. While this CAS of mine only has patterns and stickers on her skirt and chiton, at least it doesn't have stickers on something like her headband or her bandages.

The colors may be different but they compliment each other. No annoying bright red pants hogging up attention when everything else is dull brown or green.

Tomboyish generic Kunoichi was my theme and peeps will generally understand that's my intent. If they say Naruto reject character(Used to the insults haha), at least they stereotyped and didn't call it some CAS. That's what you want people to do: know your intent at least.

If stuck, utilize google. I utilized google to help myself making a Mongol or a Gladiator and other stuff, yet strayed away from it for my own ideas. In a sense, that's why I like originals better than recreations. However, I appreciate any CAS art as long as it intrigues me.

I really like Rose. Contrary to popular belief I rarely see Black and Red CaS.

Seth looks really cool too. Maybe a different sticker on his back or change its orientation. I don't like the way it stretches at the bottom.

The Wild one and Yin are fantastic.

Mech doesn't look right with that color. Idk what type of soldier you are going for but maybe try out one of the camo patterns if you have them. The bronze and black on his shirt should definitely stay. That section of him is perfect. Since you seem to want him mechanized you should try out the Iron Mask (i think that's what it's called) and see how it looks for you.
