Favourite Pokemon

battled a guy just a bit ago and he forfeited for no reason! it was pretty even the whole game but after i KO'd his greninja with my cryogonal's freeze-dry he sent out salamence. then right after he sent it out he quit. all i had left was cryogonal and infernape, he would've won super easy so i assume he doesn't know how shitty cryogonal's Defense and speed is lol. also freeze-dry has gotta be my new favorite move!

and yo @Le_Bello , we need to get on pokemon at the same time, gotta get my skill link minccino lol

Get me one too brah :D

But wow, outspeed the shit of Cryoganal and just blaze it. Proof to never quit.
sure thing man! about it to get on in a bit

yeah cryogonal's Sp.def is pretty decent (it's not goodra level, but pretty good) but its Def is almost non-existant. i mostly have cryogonal for a special wall and rapid spin. i decided to try freeze-dry and it's been fantastic so far! wondering about trying freeze-dry mamoswine lol

I did well there huh? We were playing D&D, sorry me amigo.

FD Mamo could be interesting, but Icicle Crash is too good :D

What makes this worse..
This is the only pokèmon related thing I have done in years.

np man. but FD mamo has been pretty cute so far lol. the only thing that walled it really well before was rotom-wash, but FD says fuck dat rotom. all i had to do was put a few EVs into Sp.Atk and it can take on a rotom like no tomorrow lol.

What's your set for it?
pretty much the default set -ice shard. i got EQ, rocks, freeze-dry, and icicle crash. i keep mine sashed (mostly so i can guarantee rocks) but it also comes in handy against rotom. most people either think i'm gonna switch so they set-up or a few just yolo out hydro pumps. but even in the catastrophic case of a pump, i still got muh sash.

How about the EVs? I'm tempted to try it, since Rotom is so popular nowadays =/

So is max freindship with your pokemon more benificial this time around? Ive read stuff where it says it can make a difference in battle but can anyone confirm this?

Pocky, that is super cute <3 Embrace your femanim side more! Lol

Rotom has always been popular since it's release. It's too damn good. >.<
Ferrothorn can take an agressive Rotom even when burned, but a defensive one with leftovers X.X
My team is slowly changing into a Eeveelution team X.X I've got Jolteon Vaporeon and Espeon in my team and I was thinking about using Flare Blitz Flareon. And for my doubles team I have Glaceon. >.<

Max friendship just strengthens Return.

However, max Pokeamie actually benefits. My Leafeon at one point got poisoned and she forced herself out of it. Sometimes, I watch as my Vaporeon predicts and dodges the thunder attack that would kill her. Gengar shows how much he wants to kill something by getting critical hits. My personal favorite was Gyarados was hit with a critical attack, yet held on with one Hp to show his tough side to me. Bottom line is it helps engage players to love pokemon more and saves money. It also kind of helps with experience. This combined with Lucky Egg really does wonders.

Also don't test me on my feminine side. Leafeon for instance I pet and spoil a long time. I love the way she looks at me with those angelic eyes. I often baby her a little much because of that. Such as switching to Gyarados to smack the heck out those messing with her. Maybe I ought to make a team for her, then again I ought to stick with my favorite Vaporeon. Been neglecting her thanks to Glaceon, Sylveon, and Leafeon.

Competitively no (other than Return being stronger), only in-game stuff from Amie.

Good point. That versatility with it's formes and weird stats and typing... Good job he's cute eh?

Eeveelution teams seem more popular than ever too. I know some of them are good, and it's nice they FINALLY gave Flareon FB (even if it does die quickly enough anyway), but I don't get it? Sylveon is p.cool, and Umbreon is still decent at his job, Vaporeon too. Not heard the others doing much. (Other than Magic Bounce Espeon <3)

Aha, magic bounce espeon, I remember now. When I used to get on showdown I remember people with an almost all eveelution team where the eveelutions ran baton pass then they would have one sweaper like scizor or something.

oh yo @Le_Bello i got a skill link minccino, just gotta breed another one to get the ability. does minccino evolve with frienship or one of the stones? i can't remember for the life of me lol.

oh and anyone got a solrock, regenerator slowpoke/bro/king, or koffing/weezing?

Jolteon might be the best eeveelution He is only outsped by 10 pokemon and tied with speed with 5 and that's including deoxys and all his forms and mega-evolutions. His SP.atk isn't shitty as well. Only downfall is his movepool (That became worse due the Hidden Power nerf and the inability to learn signal beam outside Black 2) and his poor HP and defence (Does have a decent Sp.def) That said, If you don't have a electric resist or a priority user then Jolteon can clean up teams with Choice specs T-Bolt or just be obnoxious with volt switch. Being immune to Electric and actually gaining HP back really helps too. And if you really REALLY hate rotom you can switch in on a electric move and use Synchronoise to easily 2HKO a defensive rotom or even OHKO a offensive set without fearing W'oW. Even a offensive set can't OHKO Jolteon without rain.

Don't think there is a better late-game sweeper to be honest. XY did give BB-Talonflame and Aegislash which are both capable of doing the same thing although Talonflame durability is ruined by rocks and Aegislash can't shadow sneak kill everything without setting up first so it will get worn out eventually.

Flareon has killer attack and it's Sp.def good too, but because everything else is crap it still can't do jack.

Vaporeon (Or at least the way I play it) Is a annoying pokemon. Scald, Wish, Protect, Toxic and Leftovers is my set with Max HP and mixed Def/S.def giving him a equal amount of bulk on both sides. Toxic stall is a bitch and I can heal my other walls of switch a sweeper in that I know doesn't get OHKO to get it back to full. It's Sp.att even without any investment still packs a punch and that's why I feel that Vaporeon>Umbreon. Umbreon might have better defenses but it can't damage anything without Foul Play.

Espeon has teh bounce. The same Sp.att and speed as gengar. Can learn Psyshock and psychic giving a dedicated wall a run for it's money. It can use dazzing gleam to deal with obnoxious dark types, Shadow ball to deal with ghosts or you can use a Calm mind set.

Leafeon is better than Flareon but having only Leaf blade as decent stab move and 5 weaknesses that are really common on a lot of pokémon that easily outspeed it really isn't that good. If you have sunlight up it does outspeed but without Woodhammer it really isn't as dangerous as it can be.

Glaceon has the same problem but it's typing makes it slightly better attacking wise. I use Max sp.att/ Max Speed + Choice scarf during hail. Blizzard becomes 100% Which is pretty much my tactic during double battle. Abomasnow/Glaceon Double Blizzard. It also has enough bulk to withstand at least one hit when it is outsped. (Which is often if it isn't scarfed.)

Sylveon is pretty much Vaporeon with less HP but a higher Sp.def. Typing-wise it's better than vaporeon. Because it's HP is lower and it's ability is a lot worse than Vaporeon it can't be used as a wish passer. It does have the same movepool as Espeon, same Sp.att as jolteon and with only 2 weaknesses and 4 resists it can use more than one set arguably making it less predictable that any other Eeveelution.

I still think we should have gotten a Dragon eeveelution. Would have fitted perfectly.

That's pretty much all the info I have about my team and Eeveelutions in general.

Ah yeah I forgot about Jolteon, even though I use one in my old rain dance team. (Good old HP Ice).
It's a shame that HP got nerfed actually, but I guess I can kinda understand it. At least it lessons the amount of breeding to get the right IV spread to match.

I dunno about there being a better late-game sweeper, surely something exists?

Yeah Vappy is irritating to fight. It just doesn't give a shit...

Still, team sounds pretty cool, though I've always argued against Dragon Eevee. They seem to've gone for the more 'elemental/magical' types. Fairy notwithstanding.
