Remember that you have to release A after one frame, before you hit B. Doing aA+B+K shouldn't really be a problem, but I'm assuming it's just for the comfort of using two different fingers. Which means you're probably holding A for longer than you should.

Would it really be slower? Are you not allowed to buffer inputs while holding guard or something? If the optimal input looks like: f1: 2 f2: 1 f3: 4 f4: 3 (can you press 3 and A at the same time or not? let's assume for this example that you can't...) f5: (3)A f6: (3)B Then would this not...
