CaS is probably the biggest reason Aeon isn't in the game, the devs probably figured they wouldn't need to add him since players could just make their own lizard man. If they sell enough to continue the series Astaroth will probably be the next character to get cut and replaced with generic CaS...

Seriously, why does anyone even like CaS? People hated Star Wars characters in IV because they felt out of place in the Soulcalibur universe and Yoda's annoying hitbox. People hated V because it replaced old cast with characters that had little to no personality and story. Yet for some reason...

If they have 5 different size choices like in Soulcalibur 5 than there is at least 100 different hitboxes, plus with characters using Nightmare's style they will basically have phantom grab range without the monster arm equipped.

As far as all the match search option screen shots I have seen there is no option to not accept against CaS characters.

If they're going to allow CaS in ranked I might as well cancel my pre-order now. I wanted to play Soulcalibur online, not some shitty devianart OC fighting game.

If CaS is allowed in ranked than there is literally no point in using the base roster characters at all when they will be inferior to a CaS that you can just make with longer reach or smaller hit boxes and hidden animations.

Does anyone know if anyone that got the game early can at least check the Rank selection to see if CaS is available for rank?
