[Aug 24, 2012] MLG Summer Championship (MK9, SC V) (Raleigh, NC)

Does anyone need a ride from the airport tomorrow? I'm arriving around 2 tomorrow by car, so I'm sure I can give people rides if it'll help them out. I also have space in my room if anyone needs a place to crash for free, I see a couple people were having issues financially so I'm willing to help people out in anyway I can. I doubt ill browse the site again till I get there so contact me by my email: J89elias@gmail.com See everyone there!
 
After searching every corner of my home right up until the last minute, I have been unable to find my passport. So I will no longer be at MLG.

Words cannot explain how distraught I feel after all the money I put towards this and all the hours training I put in just to have it all come crashing down on me.

Hey, I could use a ride and a place to stay, since Im working in Durham and is expensive to go to Raleigh and Durham... Im near the airport, I hope you can see this, Im at staybridge suites., if you could give me a ride would be awesome.
 
Just a heads up since he probably won't see this. RingOut is running behind and he is not sure if he will even make it to the competition on time. I'm sure he'd be happy to share his place though.

Also, Oof, I'm sorry, that really sucks. Hopefully things work out and you will make it to the next competition.

WTF??? I had a similar experience once. hope that helps:(
 
Yeah, lots of people registered but didt show up. Kinetic will only have to win his match vs. The winner of Keev vs. ShenYuan in order to get top 8. The rest of his matches were byes.
 
I guess it's not really MLG's fault that it was so bad friday then. That looks pretty bad for SCV at MLG.
 
Yeah, I think someone goofed up in the commentary. The reason the matches started so late was because of the small amount of people.
 
i dont get why they have this huge bracket with all these byes. if it turns out that there are only 32 players, re-do the bracket and only give byes if there are an odd number of people.
 
So I probably shouldn't have gone as a player. No where near the gameplay I need to compete... Oh well, it was only an hour and a half from where I live, and it was an interesting experience. It was cool meeting some of you in person

Competing is the best way to get experience and keeps our game alive for future tournaments glad you were able to represent yourself like the others.
