Wonder if manga can do a ghost story, seeing as not much left for the imagination.

hmm. well Texhnolyze is a decent post-apocalyptic story that held my interest more than most other anime. it's hard to explain so you would have to look up a quick description. the first couple of episodes are unusual but after that you won't be able to stop watching. same thing with Gilgamesh.

actually. a manga called GOTH seems to fit No Country for Old Men a little better. the manga is interesting and then there's also a live action movie.

for a ghost anime you have Ghost Hunt. it's pretty cool. it's kind of old school with the detective/mystery aspects a little. and manga wise you have The Dreaming by the Tokyopop company. it's the best horror manga i've read besides Tomie. (another really really good horror manga that's also made into live action films).

let me know if netflix has any of them.

What kind of horror is it? I guess, I'm not keen on slasher movies or that "abloogywoogywoo" nonsense. I love good tone an atmosphere though.

same taste here my friend. it's horror in suspence/mystery/spirits type of thing. GOTH is a mystery as well but still isn't a slasher. i lost taste in slashers after Halloween got butchered by rob zombie.

By the by, I bought the Delgado's album, it's pretty good. Like driving in the rain sort of tunes.
