Backdash into ranged, powerful moves is top tier. Nerf Nightmare's backstep and he goes from top tier to bottom in one fell swoop. That won't happen, just sayin though. Meanwhile Maxi has none of that stuff but he's getting nerfed for some odd reason. I don't understand folks.

That back dash is crazy good man! Even if I can move in safely and not whiff because of that distance covered, he has safe horizontal mids that'll push me back out and do guard damage.

Nightmare's too risky to be top tier. If you play him well, he looks like a god, but he's ultimately a whiff punisher more than anything. Trust me on this. I was right about Astaroth, and I'm right about Nightmare. =P

Well whiff punishing is a lot easier when you step backwards better and further and have the range on your own moves to punish a whiff. If Viola could back step that well she still wouldn't be much of a problem since her ranged moves don't hurt for shit, but Nightmare's do. Anyhow, he's definitely better than you give him credit to be IMO.
