I do play Astaroth a bit, and against someone who jG's 22B on reaction. A lot worse than what you went through. He has the tools to get around it. You WOULD get rewarded for being the better player if that's what you were doing man. You could've guessed when I was going to try and just guard. There is nothing smart about 9B+K to start a round, or 1AA/B mixups.

play as asta against some one that can actually just guard and break grabs you will change your tone quick or change your character
