It's sad but I must concur. Stopped playing sc5 quite a while ago actually.

seems like there was a tournament today and it was also one of the guys last time playing it as well cause he quite. It's like a virus or disease going around. the departure of soul calibur 5. shame i never got to play with you in neither soul calibur 4 or 5.

It's a real shame ^_^; My connection has always been shitty but I really wanted to see Vincent's godlike skills for myself! XD

yeah for like the first month SC5 came out i did. but then i stopped trying to keep it up and didn't do any tourneys online anymore. offline i could at least keep up with the bigger names a little. i'm sure i could do better if i tried but i have no more motivation to play this particular game. it's just a matter of tiers it seems. who has stronger moves and easier combos. i don't like that.

That's why I play shooters. Though I have to admit, I wish it was harder and we all died easier. It was the same with SC, "I'm sorry, I don't care who you are, I just hit you in the face with a (sword/pistol). You shouldn't be moving anymore."

theres a game that has realistic fighting sword against sword. you get fatally slashed once you're dead. but it's not my kind of game. i just like the 3D fighting games generally. whether it's a sword or a fist. i guess i just see black and white like that when it comes to fighters i guess.

Yeah, we try to imitate that when we play SC but turning all the health down. Makes for very interesting games. (for those who cannot do combos or anything else, you'd probably find them dull)

Personally SCV is better to me because I can actually sidestep in this game and people can't constantly whore out GIs as a braindead solution to frame disadvantage. GI is the pure enemy of people who like doing frame traps like me. Those are the two main reasons.

i get what you're saying. GI's and CF's are SC4's main enemies besides the banned characters. i personally love using Setsuka and Talim and remembered how much i miss them and wonder why they were taken out.

I actually don't mind CF. They rarely happened. GI is annoying as hell though. As for Sets and Talim... I don't know what to say there, never liked Talim and Sets was too hard for me to use at the time.
