Personally, I find it silly yet nice. Regardless, I don't think that's what 8WR needs. One guy wants this another wants that. If I needed something for instance, it'd be more useful here.

Both, I guess. Think I learned it a long time ago though I still have to tell myself it from time to time but you shouldn't judge things by your own experience. You can say that about friends and family and, whether or not I agree, there may be some here who don't have those things or have them and do not value them as much.

Somewhat unrelated, but I've always thought more of random acts of love of kindness from random strangers (not to say those things from loved ones aren't good too). We expect people to love their friends and family. But, at the end of the day, we're all human and being able to treat anyone with that type of attitude unconditionally in whatever way has always been beautiful to me.
