Ohh. Dang if I had any stick experience I would help you out, but I play controller ;-;

Try to practice the move from different buffer situations like after stepping, after SCH K BE, B6 or SCH A. Most of the time the move wont come out because you inputted it too early in the buffer window so it only registers as gA for example.

theres a trick for stick. take 3 buttons that you never map(for me its the bottom 3 buttons on the row on the bottom right) map them for agA, and then just take your thumb and slide it across all the buttons. jf agA every single time you try.

Going see if I can walk before I try to run, though. If I could get even non-i agA to go when I need it too that would be a huge improvement!

I can definitely confirm slayers tutorial. I tried playing a little bit of stick at EBO and it almost made me want to switch from controller to arcade stick. Its THAT easy.

Oh btw in terms of hurting your thumb. I personally felt more comfortable when i did the slide with the fingernail of the backside of my indexfinger. Sounds a little bit complicated at first but it worked for me and seemed easier and less painful for me at least.

Or you could get sanwa buttons, which are easier to press.

my stick has sanwa buttons =P

Then the more power to you slayer. With other buttons it can become quite a challenge to do the slide. So using the fingernail was kinda helpful.

makes sense. any way works really, so long as you can get the 3 button slide. when my thumb hurts i normally just switch fingers.

Oh man i am so jealous. If only stick wouldn't feel totally alien to me, i would play stick as well.

lolol well it only took me a couple of months to re-train myself. you should try it. and i highly reccomend one of the eightarc or quanba sticks, because they're all dual modded(except the quanba v2) and they're all made of very high quality stuff. very solid sticks, i really reccomend them.

that quanba q2 looks really nice to me. unfortunately you would have to dual mod it yourself.
