You know, I wanted to try picking SF4 back up and taking it seriously in preparation for USF4 (or whatever acronym it is now) and playing that in tournaments...I went online...instantaneous mistake.

@MightyOmega The environment just isn't conducive to learning. A few flukes and you're out. It would be simple enough to make Ranked a tournament set (i.e. best of 3 matches) yet... it's 2013... and here we are.

Concerning SF4 in particular, increasing rounds from best of 3 to best of 5 puts a band-aid on things... but the extra round puts it outside of simulation territory. Then again, it is online...

Are you referring to SCII or SCV? If SCII, then I completely agree, but I thought Ranked in SCV is fairly enjoyable, aside from the lack of punishment for ragequitting and emptyness of it at times.
