Agreed, Zwei is the only character in the game that can really hold a player back. Viola is the best character in the game. But Xiba can be use quite effective if used right.

Xiba is someone you can learn much faster than Zwei and Viola. Stay away from Zwei. Viola takes a lot practice to use her full potential. Xiba is perfect for new comers. I can always help you to get on the right track with Xiba! I'm on psn and xbl.

Ok thanks guys. I'm currently waiting for it to download and it will probably be a little while. I think I'll definitely give viola and xiba a try though.

It really doesn't matter that much. Try all of them and pick the one (maybe two or three) you like most. Zwei is extremely difficult (alpha and hilde are also very hard) to play effectivly and maybe the weakest character so don't start with him. If you like his sytle though then use him.

I actually just got up and turned to on my xbox cause sc5 is done downloading, tried out ZWEI and I'm just like nah. He seems pretty hard so I switched to xiba and he's awesome! I like him a lot.

As a Z.W.E.I player I can say, don't use Z.W.E.I unless you are aiming to not go to tournaments, unfortunately you are getting the game really late, so online is not very alive, so you will have to play people from here.
I say you give them all a try, cuz you never know who you will like it. But out of the three, Xiba is the one that is not in neither extreme of the spectrum.
