Wow, that's quite the loaded question. In a very simply answer, kind of. Here's why, if morality is relevant to God then there are 2 questions that must be asked. 1 Does God decide morality?
2. If God does not decide morality, then does he know morality? If God decides morality, then that makes morality arbitrary, thus nullifying the point of morality. If God however, knows morality, then that knowledge must come from some place other than himself.
^^This means that there is some other entity, completely separate from God, that dictates morality. Now, what is needed to know is whether or not we can obtain that knowledge without God. <<This, however, is something to which I do not have an answer at this time
The classic horns of Euthyphro argument. How do you feel about the theist response that morality ultimately is independent of God, but that because of his supreme knowledge and goodness, the best way for us to grasp morality is to have faith in him, worship him and follow his code?
