I mean the whole "I've got to change if I want to live in this world" felt like a worse version of Kaneki's revelation in TG. Hopefully they don't let that be his big turning point in the series because if so, I will be severely disappointed. But the psycho kid who lost his mother was a great touch. Wish he could've been fleshed out more.

Okay so I'm a few chapters away from being caught up. There have been some really.enjoyable twists, like with Iwatobi. And I like how they are telling the story from two different main characters positions.

But the whole time traveling concept has left some REALLY huge plot holes that I hope they address later in the series.
