They've already confirmed that SCVI will have less items than SCV, but I just hope most of the cooler / more useful items make it into CaS through unlocks.

That being said, I really wanna see properly what the Battle Comments do. If they indeed let us customise what CaS say in specific scenarios, then I think it is a great addition that allows us to flesh out characters a lot better.

Yeah but it doesn't have the camera angles of the main cast, which was the main disappointment here.

To answer your question, no they don't. Am I disappointed about this? Absolutely.

I mean, I'm kinda on your side of the argument. I don't really care about the representation people want because I think the game is fine as it is. It just feels silly how long it goes on for. The game really can't release soon enough so these things (might) finally cease.

Yikes, this thread... Every time so many new pages pop up I think something was revealed or leaked, but I guess pointless arguments can fill up that space just as nicely.

Now, I can't say for sure that CaS will have the SC exclusive CEs, but what I do know is that Azwel can use both his CEs in Soul Charge. The other one is only when he's below half health I think.

One of the biggest reasons I think unlocks are likely is the small amount of - and seemingly random items locked behind the in-game currency. Like instead of any cool helmets, or character equipment, they locked the cat and horse head. And the amount of facial equipment is sad as well.

Also the same gunsword for all weapons which is very disappointing. Hoped we'd at least get his 2P weapon from SCV. Maybe the gunsword will at least colour a little nicer in this game...

While not concrete proof, why would a SC game not have unlocks? I highly doubt they'd only have 3 hit effects not counting the default, especially with how expansive the rest of the creator is.

We have not seen any of the unlockables yet, so we can't say anything about that. The lack of hit effects is enough proof that there will be unlocks.

Now this, I really hate. How hard is it to have the camera angles for CaS characters? I thought that feature was in SCVI, but I suppose my eyes deceived me.

Which is sad, but it was something I was already well aware of before we knew anything about which races might be gender locked. This is certainly not a problem exclusive to Soulcalibur, but it's still unfortunate to see such restrictions. Even if we can only speculate so far about the gender...

I don't think so, but we do know that there are races that are gender locked. The ones we've been talking about simply seem the most likely.

I will certainly agree that it feels a bit disappointing to have any races gender locked. Especially the stage 3 malfested I would have loved to see on a female character, but I never really expected it from the start. They really don't want female characters to be very grotesque / ugly, which...
