Yeah that thing, weapon clashes. I had no idea what it was called. Sometimes though one attack gets through? Could there be some extra mechanic that determines when that happens or would it be random?
The 'break' thingy still exists in sc5 even if its not called the same thing or follows the same rules. Some attacks, when they collide with another attack, cause your character to recoil. I am also curious as to what causes this.
His A+B aGI 'powers up' for lack of a better phrase. The more you do it during a fight the more potent it becomes, going from 6b to 3b to a horizontal high that stuns to a B+K combo.
Destinizish did some analysis on it somewhere (but I can't find it, grrr). If you gain access to say B+K, 62B...
I try not to hit the buttons too hard. I think I might just be panicking and not hitting the input cleanly, since doing the twister too slow means you whiff and eat damage :(
I'll try to slow down and make sure the inputs are clean.
Wouldn't I get FC A or something instead if I'm too slow...
I find I get 3A alot. I'm assuming this is most likely because I buffer 214 too early or just wrong.
After playing aPat for an hour or so my fingers stop listening to my brain and just mash the directional buttons in hopes for a twister.
(On a side note my fingers still aren't quick enough to...
^ Pretty much this.
You're not using SC5 Cervantes to fight SC4 characters, so the comparisons are unfair.
Cervantes may have lost abilities or had moves altered, but so did the rest of the cast in SC5.
Net Change = Barely anything, Cervantes is still on top.
His A+B aGI increases in strength the more you use it successfully over the course of the match, stacking up to 8 times I believe.
He will do
-6b for the first 1-3 successful impacts.
-3b for the 4-5 impacts.
-Some random face cutting high horizontal for the 6-7.
-And B+K, 62B,44_66B+K for the...

I just realised that thread may be a little difficult to read straight off the bat.
But essentially,
-BE is brave edge, or an A+B+K input after certain moves.
-33B would refer to hitting the directional button associated with 3...
You can actually hit either. Both 44B+K and 66B+K do the last hit regardless of which side you switch to. Seems the game accepts that you hit it and doesn't want to confuse you with which side you're on.
