Thats because it started Aug 1st and ends Aug 31st. It's not a one day tournament.

Make sure you're on the right ladder. It should be the 1v1 "Summer Soul Calibur V Ladder" You don't need a new account and you just need to join that ladder and start playing matches. Very simple there is a linked video in the post that explains the process pretty easy stuff here,

Canadians are not eligible to play in this online tournament. If you come across one you should report the player and the match should be invalid.

You're failing to understand your account on gamebattles is valid for more than one game. Stop being so closed minded this is a free tournament and all it asks of you is to participate. You would be better served in trying to maximize this opportunity or leaning toward one that might better fit...

I Think this is actually something that has to do with presentation of the game from a tournament sense. You obviously cant use CAS chars at a tournament, and right now its not worth the hassle of dealing with online trolls that stick default chars with redic costume items just to be dumb. I...
