I actually use LT/L2. I've gotten quite consistent with hitting agB instead of throwing out a grab, as I have default controls. I prefer LT/L2 over RT/R2 or RB/R1 because of how I'm sliding my hand down the controller. I tend to keep more control by pressing the left trigger.
If I may ask, I'm confused as to the real purpose of a certain move:
B+K~6,2B~11_33A+B
Can that be followed with a JFT? Is it a setup for wall combos or have RO properties? It does 10 less damage than the alternate (44_66B+K), and since I'm inconsistent with most of my execution...

2364b+kA+B+K actually stuns for significantly more frames. It does 10 less damage than without BE, but that much difference in advantage, plus leading to more damaging combos is kosher with me. :D
