As always superb quality in these creations, Namco should include some of this work as additional default costumes in future DLC patches.
I'm delighted by Setsuka 2P, Aeneas, Feofan & Eurydice, it brings back great memories from SC3.
Great news indeed!
Quite nice to see Danger X7's patch with his vision of the modded game, I will have to download it and play on real PS2 hardware to experience it.
TopazHacker,
Welcome back mate, that teaser video that you kindly shared with us conveys the possibility of having a new dawn...
It's a shame that it was only released for the PS2, I remember the thrill of trying to do those perfect Tales Of Souls runs to reach Night Terror without losing a single match.
So I ju
You just nailed it, if Namco implements what you have expressed in this post, the game will dramatically improve in terms of gameplay.
Just get rid of reversal edge for good, I would gladly pay full price again to see this ill conceived cinematic blunder go away forever.

Soul Calibur 3 Remastered, it could happen.
It would be great!
To include all the fixes from the arcade edition + all the content & unlockables from the PS2 version.
Score in this review 10/10
Famitsu Score 40/40
Stable frame rate locked @ 60 FPS - Superb gameplay, outstanding animation & motion capture (still the best in the franchise), excellent sound design, and ground breaking graphics for the time.
The original Soul Calibur for Dreamcast is still to...
Season 3 Wishlist...
Removal of reversal edge for good, this one alone would be worth the price of admission.
Other than that:
12 weapons per character with special attributes (Namco already has them from SC2 & SC3)
Stages from previous games.
Medieval armor parts from previous games.
Facial...
This improvement alone will be worth the price of admission.
This thread in general has lots of bright ideas on how Namco can improve SC6 & create a fantastic SC7.
I really hope the Namco dev team take heed, and get their act together.
Great ideas by Nyte, Starringrole, Crash X...
I think you nailed it.
The Soulcalibur franchise can be improved with new characters based on realistic fighting styles that use:
Blunt Weapons
Edged Weapons
Pointed Weapons
The weapon at hand should shape the core moveset, with realistic human motion capture portraying how to inflict...
A valuable piece of information directly from the producer, I'm glad sales have been good enough to warrant a Second Season Pass.
I still think SCVI is not up to par to the golden years of the franchise SC1-3, but it is certainly improving, lets hope they can address flaws, release a superior...
Whenever possible I always try to avoid digital purchases for games, they can always shutdown the servers and take your money with them.
There' still no subtitute to the disc that can work anytime, online or offline.
The reason I play online matches is to see other player's creations, I couldn't care any less about rank.
Sometimes I have the fortune of fighting against outstanding custom characters which are pure artistry.
Bought a Dreamcast back in the day & SoulCalibur soon after, Nightmare's brutal moveset was thrilling with outstanding motion capture and intuitive moves, I was hooked forever to the masterpiece that Namco crafted in SC1.
I still have that Dreamcast & GD-ROM in working condition.
Make SC VII a next gen launch title.
Ensure the lore & storytelling are good, while providing rewarding gameplay mechanics with revamped CaS & awesome 3D models.
It has the potential to bring stellar sales to Namco.
While not impossible, I will agree with you in it being extremely unlikely to happen, let's just hope Namco can fix loading times with the current engine.
Certainly not common, but it's been done before, World of Tanks & Friday the 13th come to mind.
You are right in the sense that it would be easier to implement in a new title.
I understand why Namco chose Unreal Engine, being free it minimized development costs and the financial risk...
Improved SC VI version 2.0 (imho)
Ditch the cheap unreal engine, use a custom game engine to eliminate the eternal loading times, update the previous engines from SC1,2 or 3 Arcade Edition, heck they could even license & mod the DOA engine, or find a way to pre-load content with the current...
Exactly, in SCV to execute this powerful move the command input required more time and a decent double motion.
Still easy to pull-off, but far from instant gratification.
