I was first a Tekken 6 player before I came into Soul Calibur. I have to say I enjoyed both games but I'm leaning towards Soul Calibur more. I still do like Tekken but I haven't really had an interest in picking up TTT2 probably because SCV still takes up my gaming time :P.

I can't say I've ever quit any match. I have this thing that won't let me quit even if I'm being beaten badly because of lag or whatever. I still take my losses. However, I've had plenty of people ragequit on me. I don't really consider anything as spam, as whatever is considered "spam" is...
Is there really a need to just guard low attacks? I find it easier to do a jumping attack when I know a low hit is coming. I can definitely just guard low attacks but it seems to take slightly longer than just regular JG.
I had this one algol land his complete CE on me a couple days ago and I barely took any damage. Not even 1/4th of my health was gone. As for me there was that one time where my opponent's attack somehow turned me around and with AEON I air rolled out of the ring. It looked like I just ran away...
I generally don't have many problems with ivy. What I see is that most of them will try to sidestep and counter attack any vertical and even horizontal attacks I may dish out. What works for me is using that to my advantage and putting out 22A at the adequate times, then follow up.
