I think Voldo is a character that need to be mid-range/long-range to be in advantage, then with advantage need to be at close for pressure with mixup.
The main Voldo's cons are punishment and sidestep, so the worst situation is when you must defend at close, because you cannot punish hardly...
Another thing :
After a B+G throw, Voldo seems to be in Mantis. Sometimes, I can 66 in mantis (FT :( ), but I don't know how exactly. When I try this in lab, Voldo get up after the anim and I'm not in mantis.
Someone can explain clearly how to perform a stepG / qsG and a real example to test in the lab ? I never used that (when I'm backturned I prefer attack, but maybe I miss something big).
Neutral superfreak does not evade throws. I think that the only use is when the guard is flashing in red to avoid a guard break.
Maybe to avoid to guard the last hit of a combo string, particularly if there is a mixup mid/low.
Let's do some math :
1 CE = 2 BE
2 6B BE = 100 dmg -> You must guard 2 -14 move.
For just 1 -13 move (A lot easier), with Patroklos and with the same amout of meter, you get 96 dmg (with RO).
Seriously, BE and CE are not standard punishment tool, and Voldo has not standard punishment tool...

Ok, Patroklos CE with i13 and something like 90 dmg is a god-punisher. Oh and Raph CE i12, Leixia CE i12, Aeon CE i13, Tira CE i13, Maxi CE i14, omega i13...
CE use meter and is not a solution to punish a move all the time ? Oh but wait, "Who cares ?" huh ?
Ok for non-NC, I am a dumb here, but I prefer such tools to punish (because a string, even non-NC, is a threat that allow free mix-up), considering speed and the fact that it doesn't heat meter.
BE consumption + High (cannot punish some low, I think) + range + i14 (there is better)... I think...
I think you realize that all this is just crappy comparing with other characters.
If we take 6B BE, it deals only 36 damages (with BE).
Without BE, here the move of some other characters (not the best) :
-Leixia + Natsu : AAB - 48 dmg (i11 for Leixia, i10 for Natsu -> faster, hit stronger...

Please, tell us what are the punish tools of Voldo, because I see nothing. I can see 666B, but it's i17 and can punish only very unsafe move, that's just soooo bad when we compare with godmoves like DNS B (i14) of pyrrha/omega/patroklos, aB of Cerv, 6A+B of...
