wave dash
way back when I converted from ps2 pad to stick, it DID make me worse. I was playing GGXX(playing one of more technically demanding characters in a technically demanding game) at the time and purely switched for ease of inputs and the ban on button binding (at the time). The...
you have it set on "action attack ___" Im pretty sure there is a slight delay when using that setting. Record a cpu setsuka doing 66B, followup and try to poke her out of it.
wave dash
nice tutorial vid, Shenrei!
Babalook: I was referring to a PS pad...I dont know about the xbox. I have seen many people wd on ps pads for tekken so I would assume it would be even easier in sc4 for setsuka since the motion is easier.
wave dash
The wavedash isnt necessary to succeed at higher levels, but it is a tool to create mixup opportunities and movement options unique to setsuka. The dash is a visual cue that does disguise your next move abit, but the best thing about the wavedash imo is that it strengthens her throw...
Who would you say are the worst matchups for V
exactly. that move alone isn't going to swing the match in her favor. risk vs. reward is way in voldos favor.
Who would you say are the worst matchups for V
is 214B the only reason Ivy gives you trouble? Any "good" kilik that knows how to apply Asura and WS mixups gives me trouble
I Just got my new apartment so I am still working out my network issues...the lag shouldnt be too bad now.
I have hardly had any time to play recently due to my gf loving my TV and PS3. Im also down for any gaming cause I need to get my groove back
Sup guys. I play Calibur more than anything else these days. I main Voldo with setsuka and rock as my current secondaries. Chris/ando: I hope you can make it out sometime since we have played online so much. also, my girlfriend and I just moved into my new apartment recently so I have been off...
Do you mean no 6:6B outside of combos? I use 6:6B mostly when it is free on block or whiff. In a tournament setting, you wont have many opportunities to use 6:6B if your opponents are playing safe. Voldo will also be in other stances for a bit each match which further limits 6:6B use...but in...
hey whats up, bro. I havent been on in the last few days since I am in the process of moving into my new apartment and getting my internet hooked up. I will be back on soon...with a mic, lol.
Taki Study discussion:
against 1B,A-->PO A (fastest input) Voldo's SSR A+B wins everytime. The sidestep avoids the first hit of PO A consistently and A+B tech crouches the second hit. You can actually passively SSR when you have similar frame (dis)advantage and confirm what to do. Also, I had...
Taki Study discussion:
Great study. I've followed your Taki strats for a very long time. In your 1B,A section 1B,A-->PO A is indeed uninterruptable on block, but you didnt mention the first hit is SSRable (unless I overlooked it). I havent tested with every character yet, but it definitely...
