Ugh, so I started playing again and I immediately noticed that the issues with A:6, 22_88B, and CE are still there.
Easy to work with since I pretty much expect them now, but they've costed me rounds/games/extra effort more than they used to. Seems worse. Maybe I use them more than I used to...
Against which characters?
You can't learn to get in on Nightmare- only guess right two or three times before you can even hit him.
I don't really see a problem with anyone else unless you're just pressing buttons at the wrong time.
Most of "getting in" is character knowledge. Just study/play...
I use 4B against Ast's that like to use throw mix ups.
You have time to 4B after he picks you up off the ground. Only problem is it gets beat out and gives him him a CH off of that one move. I think 6B?
Meh, 50/50. Works for me most of the time though.
Outside of that I like never use the move.
Not really.
There's only like two characters with no moves faster than i13. I actually think Ast is the only one. Other one I thought was Sieg but I'm not sure.
And you can't think like this. Natsu's i8s are both high. They can be ducked under and whiff punished.
They're also almost entirely...
Yeah, its hard to tell if there's a difference by just looking at it.
I know someone mentioned having a way to check frames a few pages back so I thought I'd just throw it up there.
I could do some testing later in between the matches going on today and see what I can find out on my own.
I actually enjoy using 6KA and delaying A as long as possible. It usually interrupts the counter attack. It does absolutely nothing but annoy your opponent. lmao.
66B is only i17. Its not that fast. Its good as a mix up, CH tech crouch, or whiff punish. Its pretty bad to try to punish someone off block unless you know they like to press buttons and interrupt them.
I never use 4A unless I'm ending a round or it comes out by accident. I just don't like...
I've never actually had any of the waves miss unless they were against the wall or I mistimed it when they were on the ground- even before the patch.
And I'm so proud of myself. I'm starting to get the hang of reaction grabbing Yoshi out of his air stances and even some of the moves...
The only time I ever use Windroll B is as an opener against Zwei's and Ivy's that like to open with their horizontals.
Is it important? Its always been high risk. This just makes it even more risky.
Side note since I'm curious... people found the third hit hard to sidestep? I've seen some...
