4A+B,B Whiff Unsafeness. You'll hate it.

So, if someone blocks the first Bomb of 4A+B,B with low guard, and then for whatever reason decides to guard high the second Bomb will Whiff!!!
You drop it right between the feet but it WHIFFS?
What the heck?!?
It's safe on block because of the blockstun. But on whiff you're screwed (free A6 in the least)
I tested this Taki VS. Taki only and it could be some kind of uncommon hitbox issue.
I hope so.

yeah this has happened to me before. i thought it had something to do with them blocking it from max range, but not too sure.

That's one of the many reasons I don't like Double Bomb as a move.

Anyway , it seems like the second bomb doesn't actually have a big hitbox like the first one , her HAND is the only think that can launch the opponent. So if she doesn't 'touch' anything , the move completely whiffs. I tested it on BD btw , I don't have SC4 currently but I'm sure the glich exists there as well.

I miss [A+B] from SC3 ;_;

What is 'whiff'? Is that a vulnerable state you are in after some 'heavy' moves?
I think if the first bomb is blocked, it somehow pushes taki several frames back, makes her in 'whiff' state after the second bomb. It seems like Taki freezes for a few seconds. This is especially because the second bomb animation is pretty long after the first one. Do I really know what I'm talking about? Not sure :)
But it is just like any other attacks being blocked. The next attack will be a few frames late. If anyone is good at this technical stuff, please do explain more to correct me if I'm wrong. I'd like to learn more.

But to counter the bomb, I use fog blanket even before the bomb starts. I like that move - it's very safe against all horizontal attacks and it sets you back from an opponent to start a new strategy in case you're being cornered.

Thanks. I suppose I could look into this if I want to get advanced. What can I say - I just want to play, plus the fact that I have limited time thus spend it on posting something instead of reading :). So I gained experience by judging only - that some moves take longer to execute or recover and all that stuff, mostly.
There seemed to be just some people online that read this stuff, that I couldn't beat in the game. Ah well, I suppose if they have pattern, there's always a possibility to defeat them.

Double cannon has some serious track issues. It's advantages over regular ninja cannon is the very good range as well as the damage. It's also harder to react to than ninja cannon in clutch situations.

At the end of the day, it's situational. You don't want to do it in a step -> punish situation, for example...but it's decent in an oki situation.

4A+B is safe + advantageous enough to just use that alone, besides A+B and 4A+B are the same speed... I like GI'ing after a blocked bomb, it's a fair move, very safe and slow enough to react too, can't complain about that...
