All multiplayer games 1-bar connection

I am having very severe problems, I search with 4 bar + criteria, in my region, and it finds people with 4 bars + but when the match starts it goes down to 1 bar connection, terribly bad lag every online match I play, and it isnt my opponents its me, I get hatemail 90% of my games telling me to fix my connection. However the internet connection on all my other devices work properly, and when I do a connection test in the online settings of the XBOX 360 dashboard it says my connection is fine...


So basically I cant play SCV multiplayer until I fix this, anybody know anything I could try?
 
Yesterday it was not doing this, but everyone seems to be having this problem tonight.

Like every other person im playing with, even people within the range of a state or two, are getting one bar connections. Then i'll get a 4 bar with someone like 1200 miles away.... there's something going on with the servers.
 
It's been happening to me since I picked it up on launch day, people who I play against online dont seem to have the same problem
 
Try connecting it wired, just to rule out wireless being an issue. the 360 wireless adapters are known for being kind of unstable.
