Astaroth only extra C2BB Pickup

Forgot to post this when I found it, so I just copy / pasted it from the tier list thread where I remembered to mention it.

One thing I did find out about Astaroth is that you can get an extra C2BB after you end with a C2AA that pushes him abit further out even if he doesn't tech. For instance do C3A C2BB C2AA and at this point, you can catch his chest with a C2BB again. Problem is that the C2AA after that whiffs, so you need to figure out an ender that works for you. I do either 8k for good wakeup options or 4B+K if I am close to ringing them out.(thanks to Krayzie for being the one to point it out when I accidentally did it to him)
 
Against an opponent who doesn't Air Control, you can land a C2BB, 6A+K, delay 3BA. Depending on how much you delay on the 3BA, (ie if you land it last moment) air control is only possible in one direction and it rings out just as far as a C2AA.
 
Yeah, I think I mentioned this a while back, we thought it was my opponent being dumb...fifty times in a row, I guess.

I actually followed up with 2A+B K, I think, with other assorted moves. A stupid one to catch close techs is 2A+K, but just rolling on the ground dodges it.
 
I wasn't ever able to recreate it on Rock, but especially since they've got similar hitboxes, you're probably right. Have you ever been able to get it consistently?
 
? I've never been able to get it on Rock, his chest isn't thick enough to get caught by it. There is a reason I named this "Astaroth only", but hey if someone can prove me wrong I won't complain.
