If anyone can help me find a good move and combo list for all characters that would be much appreciated> I've combed the internet now for hours and can't seem to find something that is simple to understand and extensive enough to be of any worth.
Another question I have for all you Broken Destiny fans is this: can we use the cape/hood of Zasalamel's second costume like the Ps3's?
I cant seem to unlock it. I still have a few honors to get though I'm at 35

I would check the Soul Arena's and the Wiki.
The Wiki has the frames of every move of every character which can help you decide which move is good or not.
The soul Arena's have info on each characetr and the things you asked fopr are included in them.
 
We're not really standardized here, some characters might have a "good moves list" under a thread heading with a wildly different name(in fact I would be surprised to find anything called a "good moves list"). Most characters here at least have a decent (albeit separate) combo thread with a list somewhere on the first page. If you want it for everyone all in one place though, you won't (at least not anywhere that I know exists.) post in the general discussion thread of a soul arena though if you aren't having luck with that character, chances are some one will oblige to point you to the info if it's documented.

Check each individual character's Soul Arenas, it would really be helpful if you're looking for assistance for a certain character; but anyways, this vid has a combo for every character in the game, with few exceptions (Yoda not in it, Algol's combo can no longer be done due to patch), some others require strict timing, and some I don't know what to say but here it is:

Sweet, I just watched your link. Some of those moves are just too sweet. Especially Mitsurugi's!
Just wished I'd picked up a manual on the game or something. Next Soul Calibur, I'll make sure I buy that manual.

Thx a whole bunch Force-Destruct. I'm actually watching it right this minute with my psp at hand. Thanks for the warm welcome, I think i'll feel quite at home over here at 8way!
My major issue regarding Soul is that I tend to play all characters and not master any of em. Jack of all souls master of none. That's about to change, I've vowed to stick to Mitsurugi and move my way through till I become a force to be reckoned with. Usually play against a friend of mine that only ever uses with Amy. You can guess how I fare!

I so love this game!

The problem isn't pulling off the combos. That's just execution, the problem will come with actually landing those combos on a living, breathing opponent.
