Xiba's Okizeme Guide

Introduction:

In my journey to improve my Xiba game, and learn the finer aspects of the character, I put together this extensive okizeme guide. I hope it helps those who read this as much as it's helped myself. I believe Xiba's Oki is one of his biggest strengths and one that everyone should utilize to it's fullest.

Tech Traps
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To hopefully avoid a bit of confusion, I've made a scale to judge the difficulty and odds of landing a successful tech trap:

TT0: - Cannot tech trap whatsoever
TT1: - Very Difficult to tech trap
TT2: - Decent odds of landing a tech trap
TT3: - High chance to tech trap

On Anything Marked TT1, It's best to go with something fast and simple such as 2A or 2K. 2K will hit grounded and catch all rolls and ukemi, but won't give advantage. 2A will hit Ukemi and give high advantage, but will whiff over opponents that stay on the ground.

Anything Marked TT0 are attacks that leave almost no way to get decent ground game without a very high chance of losing your advantage. For situations like these, I recommend starting your mix up with what advantage you do have. I like using B+K to enter Remembrance stance, and mixing up the opponent from there.

Remember, something is better than nothing. Whether you can get a high damage tech trap or not, attack on every knock down and make your opponent afraid to be on the ground. That's when you know they're playing your game :).
