Elysium: Half of Algol?

So about a year and six month ago, I had bought the Soulcalibur IV Guide released by Bradygames, and in that book I read that Algol himself was sealed inside Soul Calibur when the sword was created, and that he found himself constantly being pulled up from the abyss in which he slept, though never truly woke up.

Until Siegfried stabbed Soul Calibur through Soul Edge, causing Algol to wake up (still inside Soul Calibur mind you, causing him to see the chaotic world Soul Edge wanted to create)

And then when Siegfried and Nightmare clashed at the Lost Cathederal, half of Algol was able to use the unleashed energy to create a new body, and even then the book refers to Algol as "Half awake"

So in other words Elysium is that half of Algol that has been sleeping for the past thousand years? According to the official Soul Calibur page, Algol merely died in order to create Soul Calibur, and was revived by the energy unleashed by the swords. However considering the recent changes in a lot of character profiles, I have absolutely no idea what's true anymore X.X

Elysium is simply the equivalent of Inferno.

While it may be true what you read in the wiki about Algol being sealed away, half awake and whatnot, that doesn't mean Elysium is half or even a part of Algol, if you think about Elysium IS Soul Calibur, whereas Algol was IN Soul Calibur. Slightly different. Elysium is the physical manifestation of Soul Calibur, just as Inferno is the physical manifestation of Soul Edge.
