Hey everyone.

Some basic info about me:
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Location: Scotland
Occupation:
I am currtly a fulltime student studying to become a 3D computer games animator/artist, but work at "GAME" as a sales assist.

Other junk:

I have been playing Soul Calibur since Soul Blade (Li long ftw) but never competitively, played a few local compitions and came top 3 everytime so by that standerd I cant be that bad :P.
I have an arcade stick but Its not fully working :( I belive one or two of the connections have came loose or are not fully connected anymore, but will more than likely be getting a new one after the year.
My main right now is Maxi and have been pratacing for a while with Tira but am still not good with her.
Looking forword to having some good "mentoring" and learning how to play the game it should be played and hopefully win more.

Welcome to the forum!

I have myself dabbled a little with 3D design in my spare time (mostly in Blender but also some Autodesk Maya); nothing too serious, Im more of a programming guy :).

Anyway more on topic, its great that your considering playing more competively! If there is one place to learn the in's and outs of Calibur and to find people who will put in the time to teach you its 8wayrun. On that note if you ever need help finding your way around the site were all here to help out so dont hesitate to ask in this thread or message either me, Enkindu or Ghengis John and it'll be our pleasure to show you around.

You should check out some of the new vids of Maxi and Tira from SCV, they are both looking to be very solid characters. Most info on these characters will be in their respective "Soul Arena's" : Maxi && Tira. Here is Viola's too if it peaks your interest.
