Well hello there fellow 8 wayrunners.

I am Cristal Knight, you might have heard of me before on either DeviantART, Youtube (not that much maybe but mostly on masquerade videos) or even here in one of the threads.

Well I finally decided to join this forum since I've been keeping coming on it for the past few months and check out the new stuff, I decided it would be useful that I joined.

I've been a SoulCalibur fan for about five or six years now and I can't say I've ever came out of that phase. I discovered the series with SoulCalibur III where I met my forever favourite character Siegfried (I think it's obvious when you know me) but also my favourite ballerina Raphael (yes, I used to call him that in my younger age when I was still a SC noob) and of course his beloved foster daughter Amy and all the rest of the crew which seems to get bigger in every game!

I started cosplaying Siegfried in 2009 and it wasn't my best back then, but now I improved my cosplay a lot and I hope to make the armour version of his outfits (which means every single one of them except two) as soon as I can.

And now I'm not going to tell you my life story so I'll stop here. I'm now welcomed aboard mates and let's have a good ride! Aye aye Captain!
 
Amy is just part of my favourite characters actually. I'm not so much a player with her (well that sounds wrong) but I don't mind fighting with her once in a while.

But I must agree with you that Amy deserves a lot more attention and love.

For what it's worth Cristal-Knight, the Amy haters merely hate her because of gameplay. Not because it's bad, but because in scrub terms: She's so safe, fast, and a pain to fight if used correctly lol. However, some hate her entirely because of whatever reason it may be. I for instance don't like fighting against her since I play this game on a hardcore level. But, I can see how she attracts people for the Lolita fashion is rather popular. Aside from that, I can assure you that the Amy haters on here won't bite you if you truly love her as character. Myself included =). Just as long as you don't take the "extremist" route(The arrogant my character is better than yours and etc.), we have no problems with you.

And to wrap this up, Pocky Yoshi says hello. Pleased to meet you. I will say I find your little story touching. Not in a sarcastic way, but in a way that I felt touched to see a true Soul fiend. Excuse my ramble.

I just dislike her because they made her a beast and crapitized Raphael. Also because I hate her clothes and hair. I don't know why, but I felt it was worth mentioning because Pocky-Yoshi specifically pointed out that her fashion is popular.

I wouldn't say I hate the character. In fact, I don't really have much against her other than that I'm just bitter because they raped my main and made her top tier, lol.
