Hai guys! I had a totally awesome "My Soul Calibur Legacy" post all typed up and my log in session timed out. (LAAAAAAAAME!!!)

So here's the TL;DR version instead:

I've been playing Soul Calibur since SCII, and have played III and IV as well. I absolutely hate Kilik. That being said: My favorite charaters are Xianghua, Cassandra, Zasalamel, and Voldo. I look forward to playing as everyone despite the roster changes. I'll end up playing SCV online at some point. I'm a fairly decent player, not GREAT and not AWFUL. I'm not cheap; very seldomly do I use ring-outs and slide-tackle tactics, but sometimes they happen. If I'm brave enough I might organize a gaming session at some point, but we'll worry that some other time.

Anyways, just one nitpick. You have to let the "ring-outs and slide-tackle tactics are cheap" go. Sure lose once shame on you, but lose again then it's shame on me. I mean, you don't want to limit all your chances of winning, do you?

Don't think anything is cheap. Instead, think of how can I get around it? That's what we're here for. When you hate losing to something that got you whiny and angry(admit it, you hate losing to the same stuff. Pocky Yoshi been there before.), always seek help here. We will help you get you to where you need to be.

Now I would start linking to help you get started or someone else could, but please tell us a bit more about yourself?

I'm just used to how my friends play the game, really. I'm really bad at anticipating other's moves so I tend to be slow to block. I'm also pretty bad at parrying attacks. I think grab breaks are just luck.

I'm usually offline with most of my games anyways unless I play with RL friends online, usually. I'm not much for random matches online to be honest, actually.

I live near the Syracuse, NY area, but I don't go out a whole lot. I don't have my liscence, so I probably won't be going far.
 
Hmmmm well I can't say much to help except don't be afraid to come here to level up faster. Once SCV hits US shores, count on having people test stuff out to help people like you and I(though I'm gonna try to help somehow). Anyways, glad to have you on board.
