Yo 8wr, new to this forum, have been lurking around occasionally sticking my 2 bits in to the odd thread for a few weeks,

Picked up SCV about a month ago now, have been playing MK9 since it came out and got pretty competitive, now the games slowing down (and fairly broken) i thought i would pick up a new game, so SCV it is!

Maining Viola as of when i first opened the box, playing a few different characters here and there while i get to grips with matchups and such, but im fairly set on playing Viola and hoping they bring a patch instead of just a community ban on her.

I'm set up in Norwich, East England, and hope to get to some offline events whenever there are some, will be really nice to get back up to gamerbase and not have to sit in the +18 sweatbox to play!

Add me on psn; xNOT_OKx if you fancy some games, its also nice to have a solid netcode on a game too, props!

Official sounding post over, Peace!

Smokey, i play offline with ketchup and mustard quite often in MK, and more recently had a little SCV game which was pretty fun! If they keep playing soul calibur and get more serious they are ones to look out for definitely!

Everything is going dandy im picking things up really quickly considering im not very fresh on the up to date 3d era (been stuck playing ttt1 for a loooong time)

Can anyone assist me on just guarding your negetive frames, i understand the concept of baiting for just guards, but do i just practice it by throwing out attacks on block and then hitting my block button on the 13/14 frame to bait 2a/aa and just guard it, or is it more down to reactions and actually learning to just guard every characters well known strings?

Im working on JGing unblockables and multihitting BE's as well as slow and predictable strings, but yeah covering my negative frames with Just Guards is seeming fairly alien. Any help would be appreciated!
