Hi guys, been lurking around 8wayrun since late SC4 and recently (very recently) decided to start posting.

I'm an English player and gonna attend the tournie in london this saturday. Thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself to the forum before attending. Probably be only spectating this time but i'm hoping to throw myself in and just go for it if i get a chance. Even just for expierence.

i've been playing the series since Soul Blade, though i was about 8 then so i've only really started getting in depth with the series since SC4.

I've played Siegfried pretty much all series and more recently took a shine to Cassandra in SC4 and Pat in SC5. Not sure where to really place my main at the moment. i find myself constantly flicking between Sieg and Pat now.

Anyway i hope to see some of the community saturday and it's great to finally post.
 
It's nice to hear from you man, how'd it go? There's a few people like yourself wandering around in need of a main. Especially where their main like Cassandra no longer exists. I've heard some tell that nightmare plays a bit like cass used to... if you can believe that. Couldn't hurt to wander into the cassie SCIV thread and ask if anyone would recommend you a character provided the place isn't a ghost town. There's also a ffew respectable SCIV Cassy players jumping on the Omega Wagon. We'll have to see what happens after the upcoming patch. I know the angry mashing scrubs will nerf Natsu though :/.
 
Cheers, well i didn't get into the 32 player tournie, but I got a good lot of casual matches and even had 5 matches with kayane which was awesome even though she destroyed me.

I'm gonna wait to see what the patch brings before I really commit completely to one character, i do dabble quite a bit and I have tried to get to terms with omega and nightmare at points. I think i'll have a look into both of their SA and see what I can muster up with them in training and casuals.
