And when I say "decent" I'm not referring to skill level, because I'm actually quite terribad, I just mean people who aren't...awful personalities. I've been playing since march and I'm not exaggerating when I say I haven't had a single moment of pleasant human interaction playing SC5 on xbl. I finally got annoyed with online randoms constantly t-bagging and trolling me in fights and sending me pop-off/and or rage mail, so I thought I'd look here for people who are less disrespectful. hopefully this place can change that. I've lurked here for info before and i guess this community seems nice. Hope I like it here. I use Natsu/Viola so it'd be a big help if someone familiar with the characters wants to critique me a bit but I'm willing to play with anyone. My GT should be under my avi thingy...I think.
 
Yeah! I'll practice with you! I'm kinda in the same boat. The majority of people I've played with are trolls and... well, I'm sure I don't need to explain to you.

Honestly, I've been looking for cool people rather than pros. I don't have my mic in most of the time because of people like that, so hit me up sometime and we'll play. My GT's the same as my username. What's your main?
 
Pocky Yoshi is a troll though. And those pros that take the fun out of the game. Nothing you can save you from his wrath.....unless you give him a cookie. >3

The main ingredient on beating a troll is having a thick skull of serenity. Meaning not letting stuff let to you since they want to have fun any way they see fit. Sometimes, a troll will stop trolling if you fight with all you got and be respectful even when frustrated.

Yeah it's rough out there v_v. Natsu is my main, Viola secondary. Eventually, I'll pick up Sieg and Pyrrha. I just have to get more comfortable with Natsu and Viola first. I'll send you a request now.

Nerves of steel, eh? Maybe one day. Until then, I'll have to hope that they all accept cookie bribes lol. Thanks for the welcome ^^
 
I can sympathize. There are just too many trolls. Coming from Arcana Heart 3, I used to be delighted at the number of players Soul Calibur V has. But now, not so much. It's just hard to find a match where you won't be called cheap, spammer, tryhard, etc for winning. Sometimes I just want to play, not dealing with people's saltiness.

I would testify though, that this site has helped me find those 'rare' good matches.
