Hi these are some of my random creations

They are mostly interpretations of characters that I like, so its just a heads up that they wont be spot on. Tell me what you like and what I should improve. Thanks in advance to anyone who looks.
Now lets start off with misc. characters from other games:
Rachel Alucard:
Rachel.jpg Rachel back.jpg I tried to do the wing thing on the back but it was a fail, but I still like it. (Dont mind the sock btw my entertainment system is my dresser so thats why its there haha.)

Kai from Heavenly Sword:

Well, the good news is Pocky Yoshi gets to see a new face in CAS forum. The bad news? Critiquing. Muhahahaha.

Anyways, most are meh(but I think you're experimenting so no worries). Some actually strike me silly. Like Kai remake from heavenly sword makes me a bit happy since I liked her character design. The Viola Zelda look was rather intriguing because there's potential ideas yet to be explored from that haha.

But the critique for now is Mira and Janet your customs.


For Janet, I'd probably want to change the hairstyle since it conflicts with the gentle pink.

For Mira, I'd probably want to explore more into making an outfit that suits her.


All in all, please keep on sharing.

Thanks for the help. Im trying to figure out what I want to do with Mira, because I dont want to delete her, yet. ^_^
 
I see you're on a PS3. If you have a USB flash drive, you should use that to move screenshots from your PS3 to your computer. When you're in creation mode, you can take screenshots by going into your XMB, going to photos, and choosing save screenshot. It'll save the screenshot into a folder under photos. Quit the game, go to the folder, hit triangle, and copy it to your flash drive. From there, you can edit the images however you like on your computer. This way, you can post much more detailed pictures.

As far as your recreations go, only Zelda and Rachel Alucard come close to their originals. Even then, a little bit of creative patterning and sticker work would go a long way in making them more faithful recreations. I can see what you were trying to do with the bat wings on Rachel. That's an excellent idea, but I encourage your to adjust their position and orientation some more until you get it just perfect.

Anko needs a longer coat. I suggest the Fur Coat or Baihu Coat. Her hairstyle is quite far from the original, as well. I know none of the choices available come close, but still. Maybe you could try a hair-down version or use the special equipment to rebuild the back part of her hairstyle.

I'd also reconsider a lot of the color choices, here. They all seem oversaturated, so try tuning that down a bit. This goes for everything you've posted so far and double for Kai.

In general, your Pyrrha alts and original characters are either plain or the choice of parts just doesn't make any sense. The one that stands out the most is your armored Pyrrha alt. It's evident you had a clear theme in mind when you made this, so this serves as a good starting point for what could become a great design. Again, though, some problems with color across the board.

It's not all bad, but you're not utilizing the editor to its full capacity. Perhaps you just need to keep making more and getting feedback.

ok thanks. I'm actually deleting a majority of them as we speak. To start over completely. I guess I just don't have an artistic eye for these things. But I'll keep trying. Thanks for being kind.

You're deleting them? Oh, man, now I feel bad, haha. I really do hope you come back with some new and improved designs, though. You can learn quite a lot just from looking at some of the other designs floating around here. Even just sitting down and testing out different ideas in the tips and tricks threads helps out.

I'm not deleting all of them (I had many more that I made that u haven't seen). I'll try uploading some more next week.
