New to SC

Hi all. Like the the thread title says, I am a pretty much a brand new SC player (I played SC4 a few times but not seriously). Currently I am working on trying to learn the SC system, and it's slowly coming along. I'll admit, I might not have picked the best characters to learn the game with (Z.W.E.I. and Raphael) but out of the characters available they are the ones I like. I like the idea of finding a mentor or even a group of people on XBL that I can train with, so if anyone is interested please send me a message here or on XBL (Gamertag is Delious).

Hey, welcome to 8WR. We're all nice people here =).

Hmm...sounds like you want to pick up characters that are easy to learn. Raphael is okay for your pick, though ZWEI may not appeal to beginners who are using him for the most part I suppose =P. If it helps, it doesnt hurt to try out people like Siegfried, Mitsurugi, Patroklos and/or Pyrrha, they are all easy to use.
 
I agree. They seem the better choice for beginners, I just don't really like any of them that much. I might just stick with Raphael since he seems to be the easier of the two to use and learn with. Thanks for the welcoming.

Welcome from another newbie such as yourself! good practice IMO is the quick battles work your way through some of them using the search criteria so you dont go fighting Edge Master the first time haha
